From the moment we pulled up it felt like we had found a place away from the crazy city life. Tucked away on the side of the mountain, the scenery is beautiful. Until you actually try to check in. The front desk staff seems to not know where anything is, or how to run the credit card machine or to... more

I have never written a review before, but this stay has changed that quickly. Service was horrible from check in to check out. Every question or problem my wife or I had could not be answered or solved by the staff that was working. The staff would say I don't know let me call my boss and i will get... more

To begin, I would like to express my sincere apologies for the problems you encountered at the property. I was not at the property at the time of the incident, but as the new General Manager I can assure you the problems you encountered will not happen again. I have taken time to review many concerns which guests have had...

I took my wife on a surprise overnighter. We were going to originally get a suite with a jacuzzi for $129 and treat her to a nice dinner, I heard that Maddox, 10 miles away in Brigham City is good. After carefully reviewing the hotel's web site I discovered "specials" offered by the hotel. I booked a special that included... more

To begin, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your kind and most pleasant comments about our property. In today's world it is very seldom guests take the time to say how enjoyable something is and to be able to share such comments with staff goes miles in letting them know people do appreciate the work...

Our family booked the hotel for a family reunion in Richmond, Utah. Prior to arriving my wife and I read reviews from several sites and quite a few were less than positive. With that thought in mind we had some trepidation about the hotel. We were very pleased when we arrived with the shape of the grounds, how clean and... more

The scenery is beautiful and the grounds are very nice. We had two rooms booked and the tvs were not working in either room. We overheard two other guests tell the front desk about their tv not working. No big deal, we did not come for the tv, but it would have been nice in the evening. There were lots... more

I was looking for a hotel late at night and everything in the area was booked up. I found this place through my GPS and called. They had a room for $89, and the person sounded apologetic at the price, explaining that it was a resort. I was happy to find a room, didn't need a resort just a good... more

My wife and I stayed at the resort over a weekend in February. We were somewhat disappointed in what we found. The resort is fairly nice, but it is probably not worth the price you pay for it. A few things stuck out to us. First, it seemed like all the staff were local college students. It didn't seem like... more

Billed as a "Resort" the Sherwood is more appropriately a "Retreat." There was no one available at the "24-hr. front desk" to answer a call to confirm our stay. When we finally reached a desk person, we were told they were not there over the weekends. What?? The room was reasonably clean, but my guess is that it hadn't been... more

We had a meeting scheduled in Logan, Utah. The hotel in Logan that was recommended was booked, so we decided to try the Sherwood Hills, which is about 10 miles from Logan. It is an 80's modern hotel/resort/golf club/conference center. The location, although easy to pass by, is beautiful. Although the motel-like hotel could use a bit of brightening up,... more

The web site states resort I think not. The grounds are wonderful and the rooms are OK as long as you are not downstairs. So beware. If you plan on working out in the gym forget it. Old equipment, 1 treadmill, 2 stairmasters, and a bit and piece smith machjine. We went for a wedding. Changed our room from what... more
