The Landmark Inn is a beautiful property, both inside and out, lots of tile, and large rooms. However, the walls are thin and the beds are hard. Additionally, there is no pool or hot tub. We had seen previous reviews that said the walls were thin and the beds were hard but my wife was impressed by the appearance of the property and wanted to give it a try. At 6 AM we heard talking that seemed to be right in the room with us. We checked the hall but no one was there. We concluded that it was from the next room. It was weird – even though we closed the bathroom door it seemed like they were right in the room with us. My wife is used to ‘pillow top’ beds and had a petty bad night – the beds were ‘extra’ firm that is for sure. The free breakfast was great too – waffle cooker, very clean area. Although we had booked and paid for the room for 2 nights, when we told the staff we were not staying the second night they were courteous and didn’t even ask why – just ran us a credit on... more
