I stayed here once years and years ago, it's been in Vernal for many years. The Pelican restaurant on premise made it nice not to have to go out once I was settled. It was obvious they have completed renovations, as carpet, bedding, TV and bath tile looked all brand new. On Main Street or Highway 40, main drag, but... More

This is a full service hotel, with a fine on site restaurant with good service and hearty meals. The rooms are spacious and well kept. Only a few negatives. Like many hotels and motels, the rooms are short on electrical outlets, which you need to plug in computers and cell phone chargers. The rooms had no laundry bags which on... More

I stayed here a few years ago and I am so sad now that it has become such a dump. I remember swimming in the pool and a big clean room. My room now smelled badly and the sheets had a brownish tint to them. The rate was lower than the bigger boys and I guess I could say that... More

It is my fault. I made the reservation based on the nighly rate and location. It was my first trip to Vernal and I had my family with me. It only took us one night to learn that this place is not interested in servicing their guests. Room was dated. Mattress a joke and they wanted to bill me for... More

Vernal is in the midst of an oil boom so prices are high and places book up fast. The Weston is an affordably priced hotel. We found modern and comfortable rooms. What impressed me the most was the staff. The front desk employee, breakfast attendant and cleaning lady were very friendly.

This is a decent facility but the room was a little 'run down' and even though it was non-smoking, there was a residual odor of smoke in the room (second floor). I surmised that previous guests (lots of oil workers in the area) may have opened the window to blow smoke outside. There also was considerable transfer of noise from... More

After visiting Dinosaur National Monument we drove back to Vernal, thinking it would be easy to find a hotel. Wrong! Due to the oil biz, most hotel rooms fill quickly. We finally found a room at Weston Plaza. The room was a bit worn but adequate. Clean, spacious and had a refrige, microwave and blow dryer. We ate at the... More

This place caters to the oil industry in town. So as that goes it is a cut above the rest. The room was Clean and comfortable.

First off, DON'T get this confused with the "Weston Lamplighter". Two TOTALLY different places, and the other is more cruddy and rough. This is more like a smaller hotel than a motel. Dunno why, but Vernal is one of those vastly overpriced lodging areas. If it's not overpriced, then it gets bad reviews, or is full of noisy oil workers... More

We took an overnight trip to Vernal to see the sights in the area and for an overnight get away. We had booked anotehr Hotel that turned out to be a "No Tell Motel" (Sage) and canceled our reservations. We arrived at the Weston Plaza and found a very friendly staff who showed us, our room first, which was a... More
