Worst hotel during our 4 week USA trip. High rates. Low value. 30 yr. old rooms / furnishing / sanitary equipment. Dimly and mouldy. Next time we will better sleep in the car. The mattresses have not been upgraded, but the ones in my room weren't unsleepable during my forced 2-week stay. They weren't great, but they weren't the worst I've dealt with. If you stay here & have chemical sensitivities,... More

We planned a two-night trip to Vernal with four adults. We booked at the Lamplighter hotel for those two nights. We weren't expecting a four star hotel, but for the price we figured it should be a decent nights sleep...WRONG! At one point or another during the night, each of us considered sleeping on the floor or in the car.... More
