The property is sturdy, clean with essentials for basic cooking. Decor reminds me of condos that are used by big families or groups where excessive wear and tear is anticipated. It is not inviting nor especially comfortable (ie, no footstools, coffee tables in living room). The location is one hour out of Springdale where there are excellent accommodations and another... Dixie provided A1 service even right from the phone call I made to see if she had availability. She sent an email right away while I was in an area of cell phone service to ensure that we could locate the Inn since she advised that the GPS would not provide accurate directions. When we arrived to check in she... More

Like many others have noted, this is a very nice out-of-the-way accomodation in an area that has very little to offer except your typical motor-hotel. Just the 2 of us were put in a 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin with a very well furnished kitchen, nice linens, and great zoned heating systems, including bathroom floor heaters. Little did we know there... I called the Stone Canyon Inn to discuss which cottage/bungalow to choose, and the proprietress offered me a full cottage for a slightly lower price (this was January and I was booking the day of my stay, and I believe that the low number of people staying at the Inn made this easy). She was super sweet, and mentioned that... More

I am a BIG fan of the national parks - Bryce Canyon National Park is spectacular with its hoodoos, geology and palentology programs. The diamond of the park is their astronomy program with the country's darkest night sky. On Tues, Thurs Sat the Rangers set up GIANT, sophisticated telescopes for viewing after the 8pm Ranger program. PhD astronomers, astro physicists,... More

I just loved it here, even though it was a little farther from Bryce Canyon than other lodging. The owners were welcoming and this property is a fun escape from everyday life. The cabin itself was really well constructed with quality materials as well as thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms impeccable. There were even complimentary... More

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We stayed last minute on impulse, and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. One of her cabins is dog-friendly, and I'm so glad that our search for a dog-friendly stay led us here and not another generic hotel. I was impressed by all the small professional and thoughtful touches that permeated our experience. We... More

We enjoyed our stay in modern chalet style bungalow which had a very good bedroom and bathroom. The lounge was comfortable and although there was a microwave to heat things there was not a sink to wash up. On arrival we were given the key to the cabin but no information on the local area and there was no information... More

We decided to get away for thanksgiving this year. The Stone Canyon in worked great for us! We were looking for a quiet, relaxing, disconnecting abode. We could have gotten out our camper but I also wanted some amenities. Our family of 4; myself, husband, teen daughter and grandmother loved the guest house! I carried in our turkey dinner. I... If you're looking for a clean, modern, private cabin to stay in near Bryce Canyon, this place certainly delivers. Even though it's categorized as a hotel on TripAdvisor, it's not a hotel, it's a bunch of cabins at the end of a dirt road in a very small town. We stayed in a bungalow, which was a two-room cabin with... More
