The cabins are clean, very comfortable and located next to a "back entrance" to Bryce Canyon. Great location for hiking into the Canyon without a lot of other people around. Location was also excellent for visiting Grand Staircase Escalante. The restaurant was very good and had nice views from the terrace. Service was friendly and welcoming. Absolutely a place I... We used this as a stopover after visiting Bryce Canyon. This is a fair way from Bryce, driveable, although there are other places closer which you have access to the free shuttle buses. What I would say though is that you won't have the benefits of the lovely outside veranda and restuarant that Stone Canyon Inn offers. I have seen... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights over the Fourth of July weekend and were very happy with our experience. We rented the house adjacent to the main building which was huge! We didn't have a hot tub, but had a full house for our use. We cooked both nights and were impressed by all the pots, pans, and... More

We enjoyed our stay at Stone Canyon Inn for the following reasons: 1. convenient to Bryce Canyon, only 10 min away 2. beautiful view of the grand staircase and powell mountain 3. great little restaurant on the property 4. our cottage had a hot tub!! 5. but the cottage needs work, it needs more space to unpack, the bedrooms are... We had never been to Bruce Canyon. The Stone Canyon Inn is a quiet and beautiful respite away from the crowds. On the pricier side, it was worth it for the privacy and niceness of the staff. The meals at the restaurant were tasty and well prepared.

A back door to Bryce Canyon At first sight Tropic may seem a little out of the way for Bryce Canyon, but it really isn't. Stay at Stone Canyon Inn, drive a few miles up a dirt road, park your car and jump the Tropic Trail that will take you straight on to the Pekaboo and Navajo loops within the... More

While the inn and property are physically lovely, I was somewhat disappointed by our stay. I anticipated a more personal atmosphere as one often experiences at luxury inns or B&B. We stayed in the Guest House which provides a large first floor living space and a generous 2nd floor bedroom with lovely views. The outdoor dining also has a spectacular... More

Checkin was lukewarm, not at all what one typically gets from bed and breakfast (note that breakfast is not included.). We got a cottage which was very roomy, with high chalet ceilings and lots of windows, with an angle view of red rocks. Two bedroom, two bath, full kitchen for $300 due to a last minute cancellation made this cheaper... More

Perhaps this place if fairly new and the owners need some experience because we were disappointed with our bungalow. The bungalows provided no service between days staying. They only provided two very small plastic wine glasses and other paper products to use while there. There was no sink in the "kitchen" area. The view was no-existent. The wifi only worked... More

Room was clean and service was good. We stayed in the new bungalows. The signage to get to the inn was not clearly marked. The breakfast was okay too. We did have one negative that wasn't very nice related to the restaurant. In the evening we went to dine in the restaurant onsite, Stone Hearth Grill where we had a... More
