After finishing a day of hiking in Bryce Canyon we headed to stone canyon inn in Tropic, Utah. Reservation were made months in advance based on feedback from other guests. I must say the bungalows and beautiful! Clean, roomy, private, well decorated and modern. We had dinner at Stone Ridge Grill which is located on the grounds- the food was... More

Stone Canyon Inn offers a nice alternative to the "3" star motels found in and around Bryce Canyon. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area and outdoor patio with a hot tub. Satellite TV and free wi-fi also come with your accommodations. There is a nice selection of DVD's in... More

We were on our way to the Bryce Canyon NP, whose lodge was fully booked. So we decided to stay at the Stone Canyon Inn and I'm really happy we did. We booked the Guest House, which is a two-story house with HUGE kitchen and living room downstairs and a room with a great view upstairs. It was a full... More

Loved this place! We stayed in one of their bungalow's & had just enough room for my hubs & i with our 3 young kids 3, 7 & 10 yrs. It was close to bryce canyon & had great views. They served us breakfast in the main house which was included in the room rate. Can't beat the hospitality.

Stone Canyon Inn is on the backside of Bryce Canyon National Park. We had a two bedroom cabin that was perfect for us (there were only two of us but it was all that was available months ahead of time). The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with utensils, the fire place worked and the TV was great to... More

Stayed here at Stone Canyon Inn for overnight while visiting Bryce Canyon. Rooms are clean and spacious with great heating and bathrooms. We had a 2 bedroom cabin with Jacuzzi tub and hot tub out side. I used the hot tub in the morning and really enjoyed the tranquility. We also ate at the restaraunt they opened at the check-in... We stayed in the Shooting Star bungalow. It was extremely clean, beautiful accommodations, comfortable bed, satellite tv, complimentary breakfast basket. We had views into Bryce Canyon from our front porch. There were mule deer in the road on the way in and out. The proprietors were very nice and helpful but seemed busy getting the restaurant open. The restaurant was... More

The property is sturdy, clean with essentials for basic cooking. Decor reminds me of condos that are used by big families or groups where excessive wear and tear is anticipated. It is not inviting nor especially comfortable (ie, no footstools, coffee tables in living room). The location is one hour out of Springdale where there are excellent accommodations and another... Dixie provided A1 service even right from the phone call I made to see if she had availability. She sent an email right away while I was in an area of cell phone service to ensure that we could locate the Inn since she advised that the GPS would not provide accurate directions. When we arrived to check in she... More

Like many others have noted, this is a very nice out-of-the-way accomodation in an area that has very little to offer except your typical motor-hotel. Just the 2 of us were put in a 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin with a very well furnished kitchen, nice linens, and great zoned heating systems, including bathroom floor heaters. Little did we know there...
