There are two similarly-named properties in Tropic, this is the "Log Cabins,": not "Country Cabins." We reserved in advance at a rate that was reasonable for the location and date (near a crowded National Park on a summer weekend). The cabins are lined up along a wide gravel drive, and the owner wants you to park along the fence instead... More

We really enjoyed our stay there, in a big cabin with two beds, a fridge, a beautiful woody environment. There was a grill outside and view on pastures with animals, and great sunset on some mountains... 2minutes walking to Tropic's few restaurants, 10 min driving away from the National Park. We do recommend!

My fiance' and I stayed here for one night a couple of weeks ago on a late weekend trip we took to Bryce Canyon, Escalante Grand Staircase and Mossy Cave w/Waterfall. We really enjoyed the simplicity of the extra high pitched roof line within the cabins. We stayed in cabin #10 which has a convenient parking spot just to the... More

My family loved staying here. The cabins were immaculately clean, fresh and comfortable. The service and friendliness of the owners was fabulous! The best part was the view across the field from the cabins, and the field itself that my kids loved playing in at dusk collecting flowers, drawing at the outdoor benches. Close-by were properties with baby lambs and... More

We spent two tough nights down in the bottom of Grand Canyon and wanted to break up the tent nights, with something more restful, and still keep in theme of the trip. We hiked a large portion of Bryce Canyon in one day hike and photographed another. This was the perfect place to spend the nights between and get FULLY... More

I really can't believe the good reviews this place got. While the cabins do look like the photos, they neglected so show the location. You drive down a graveled area. Yes, there is a porch - overlooking the gravel. Way, way overpriced for what you get. Near Bryce, right off the highway (that, we at least were prepared for). Staff... More

If you are visiting the Bryce Canyon area but want a less touristy feel than Bryce Canyon City offers, this is the place for you. The wood cabin was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff--from the man who checked us in to the man and woman who cleaned our rooms--were especially friendly. We were thankful for the great hiking... More

This place was absolutely wonderful!! Great price! Exceptionally clean!! Friendly staff! Beautiful view! When I didn't have a coffee filter left in the room our second day I ask the owner for some. He was so apologetic that it was forgotten. I wasn't even upset. Highly recommend.

We arrived here in the late evening (11pm) and the owner had nicely put our key in an enveloppe between the door of the office cabin, so easy for arrival. The cabin was surprisingly big for a very fair price, close to a national park. The inside of the cabin was very nice and cosy, with all the comfort, nice... More
