We stayed here for two nights in August. They are very casual about your arrival. When we got there we found our name listed on the door as to which cabin was ours, with the keys on the table. The cabin was very well equipped with everything you would need to live there - fridge, stove, coffee pot, toaster, microwave,... More

The cabins are large and have everything you need. The area is so peaceful and beautiful. The town of Torrey is a couple of miles away and there is a general store where you can get meat to cook on the BBQ. Charcoal is provided by the owners. The refrigerator is large and even had ice cube trays in the... More

Felt more like we were staying at a friends cabin than a rental. Everything was vary clean, and well arranged. Pine Shadows is easy to find and close to many sites; but still vary private. Debbie and Steve met us shortly after we arrived and answered any questions we had. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to... More

Took my brother and SIL on a trip to southern Utah in mid-July and our first stop was Capitol Reef. Lodging in the immediate area is pretty lame, save for this find off the beaten path. We stayed in cabin 5 with two queen beds, kitchenette and full bath. Everything was very clean and cozy (the bathroom was a huge... More

These beautiful, simple cabins are clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting Capital Reef and surrounding areas, and there are many walks ranging from easy to challenging. I could stay here for weeks discovering all this wonderful canyon country. The owners are very accommodating and helpful, and the stay is relaxed and easy. If you haven't... More

A super place! We were booked in for 4 days and added 2 more. Spacious, well equipped and quiet cabins. Bed is great, view is wonderful. DVD's and information galore! Incredible location. Easy to dine in or head to Torrey in five minutes to eat out. About 25 minutes to Capitol Reef Visitor Centre at Fruita. Plus, Debbie is a... More

I can't believe our luck finding Pine Shadows for our recent trip to Capitol Reef National Park. We ended up loving the surroundings of Pine Shadows almost as much as the park itself! The cabin was perfect for our family, and we can't wait to stay again. It was convenient, clean, and family and per friendly. Thank you, Debbie and... More

Every cabin has a front and back entrance, and a covered porch for viewing the rock formations, the Velvet Ridge, cedars, and pinion pines.
