Just got back from another week of Utah powder. This time we stayed in a part of the Cliff Lodge which is the condo section. It is newer and allows you access to the Spa without a surcharge. 2 lift tickets per night booked are also thrown in. There is a nice kitchen with a full range/oven and full size... More

The Cliff is very nice and comfortable. The prices for the dining is a little bit on the high side, but the food was generally good. The best value seemed to be at the Mexican restaurant. The one thing I was not impressed with was the fitness equipment in the fitness room. For a resort with their own spa facility,... More

This giant concrete lodge has everything you need for a relaxing ski vacation, enjoyable business trip, or in my case both! Glad I got the chance to stay for 5 days and take in a conference in house at this location. The heated pools, hot tubs, spa on the lower level and the roof were perfect after a packed day... More

The Cliff Lodge & Spa is the best accommodation if you want to stay in the Snowbird-Alta ski area. While the rooms themselves are in dire need of upgrades, the complex itself has a lot to offer. It’s ski-in/ski-out to Snowbird and only 5 minutes up the road to Alta. When it’s not busy the bellhops will gladly take you... More

Very well maintained, right at the base of Snowbird. Probably the most courteous staff I have experienced. Outstanding pool, spa. Very easy access via shuttle to Alta, about a mile away. The Mexican restaurant and bar were very good and the top floor restaurant was excellent. Sushi specialization but many other choices as well.

We last stayed here 15 years ago , and though there have been great improvements on the mountain itself , the Cliff is much the same . All the staff were very friendly and helpful ,but the rooms need a makeover. To us it was worth it having ski-in ski-out accommodation , and being able to rent skis , buy... More

Located right across the entrance to the lodge-- can't ask for more than that really. Staff is very friendly and helpful. No room service! Though there is free (and actually good) coffee, hot chocolate, and tea in the lobby. The decor is very much 1970s-- lots of concrete. Beds were comfortable, and we had a killer view of the mountain.

Stayed in Feb 2015. Great location for ski in, ski out. Absolutely beautiful views!! But from the minute we walked in got a bad vibe from the bell staff and felt unwelcome. No one goes out of there way in regards to customer service. Our thermostat was broke in our room, and when we called maintenance the answer we got... More

Thank you so much for your feedback regarding your recent experience at Snowbird and the Cliff Lodge. We understand the difficulties that you encountered and are working on improving each guest interaction throughout the resort and not just at the Cliff Lodge. Also, beginning in April of 2015 we will begin a renovation program for all of the guestrooms in... More

We stayed at the Cliff Lodge for two nights. First the good. The staff, especially the bell men, were very friendly and helpful. The views from the property and room were beautiful. The proximity to skiing and Snowbird Center was great. The ski lockers and ticket office onsite was also very convenient. Now the not so good. I have stayed... More

The decor is kinda stuck in the 1970's...I expect to see the Brady Bunch walking around the corner! Pros: - Ski in, ski out - Lovely staff - Ski lockers, rental shop etc. Cons: - the décor. All that hard wood and dark carpeting... - badly in need of a renovation, lots of little things in need of repair -... More
