I stayed at The Cliff Lodge with two friends for 4 nights. Every meal was fantastic. The meals are a bit pricey but you expect that at a resort. The room service was a bit disorganized, but the staff was very nice and responsive. The rooms didn't appear outdated as I anticipated. The only fault we found with the room... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick snowboarding weekend March 14-16. The location is perfect to just wake up and be on the mountain quickly. They provide lockers for your skis/boards which at first seemed lame but then quickly became a great idea. They are conveniently located and have dryers so you can put your boots and gloves... More

For the price of this hotel I expect much more. The bathroom door wouldn't lock, the walls are thin so if you decide to have some fun after the slopes expect your neighbour to bang on the wall to put an end to the party. The bathroom sink was full of cracks, the wood trim in bad need of refinishing,... More

We just spent spring break skiing Snowbird. The adults loved the steep and fun terrain. There was plenty of intermediate terrain for the kids as well. Ski school was great. The hotel is the best location for ski in/ski out. The studio rooms are badly in need of renovation. The carpets old and dusty, beds ok but linen and towels... More

We had a family ski vacation at Snowbird staying at the Cliff Lodge. I have stayed here multiple times over the years and this is truly one of the best places to stay in the world! The resort is at the base of a world class challenging ski mountain! When we were here we had plenty of fresh snow on... More

I have stayed here twice on ski club trips including this month, and believe its probably the best hotel in the Snowbird/Alta area. The upside is friendly reception and staff, nice rooms (even numbers face the ski-side of the mountains) most or all with small fridges, the Aerie restaurant on the top 10th floor with magnificent views and overall delicious... My wife and I stayed at the Cliff Lodge in March where I was attending a conference. Our check in was easy and convenient. We even got early check in after getting in SLC at around noon. We took Canyon transport directly up the the lodge. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had the mountain view on the 5th... More

This is a great choice if you are going to ski Snowbird and/or Alta and you only have a few days. Nothing trumps the location. The staff is great. Everyone from the parking attendant, room maids, bell staff and spa workers is first cabin. The hotel is a sprawling concrete bunker from the 70s. A lot of that is driven... More

Great staff, good rooms and good location. Slightly less convenient than The Lodge condos because you have to either walk up the hill or take a small lift at the end of the day. However, if you're looking for all of the services of a hotel, The Cliff is the place to stay. Good restaurant, pool, shops. Would be nice... More
