It appears that the Cliff Lodge is trying hard to offer activities for summertime visitors. It seems to be great for that, and the young families we saw there seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. The location is easy to get to. The weather is 15-degrees cooler than the valley floor, just a few miles away. There is a good... More

Accompanied my spouse on a business trip. Hotel is in the middle of a remodel. Hallway carpets and walls are very worn. Construction noise throughout the day until 930 at night. Room was updated and clean but missing the microwave promised on the hotel website description of rooms. Perhaps I am in a minority of guests who brings their own... More

Our family loves to take a few days in the summer and retreat to this beautiful place. Buy a package of activities and ride the tram. zip line, and other rides. We love the Steak Pit to eat. Hiking trails are amazing. Tennis and great swimming pool, too.

Our room was so newly renovated it was still off-gassing... left the windows open the first day which helped. The king suite we stayed in was beautiful. Had room service for breakfast two days & enjoyed all the other meals we had, especially the Mexican place. We were at a conference (that we attended on our own dime) and didn't... More

The setting is like a miniature Estes park Colorado. Grand views, 3 or 4 good hikes, nice roof top pool, good concerts on the weekends. The architecture of the lodge itself is beautiful. The display of Indian rugs on the beautiful paneled halls is splendid. We enjoyed the restaurant on site and especially the buffet breakfast. We come often, and... More

I recently stayed here for a company event. We stayed in the summer so this review does not reflect what the lodge would be like in the winter. The setting at Snowbird is spectacular set high in the mountains above Salt Lake. That said it is quick to get to from the airport. Altitude might give you some problems if... More

We were at Snowbird for a conference and really enjoyed our room and stay. The staff was extremely cordial and helpful throughout. While our room overlooked the pool, it was well-insulated and remained quiet. The free washers on our floor saved us, as we had been on the road for over a week and needed to wash practically everything (we... More

Nice value stay in the mountains above Salt Lake City. We had a 2 queens room overlooking the pool. Good amount of space, nice couch to lounge on and look out the large window. Unique window from the shower to look into the room (with a drape to provide privacy if desired). Have a shower or bath while watching the... More

We booked a one night stay and play summer package for our anniversary in July. The Cliff Lodge is split into a hotel side and a timeshare side. We had a 2 queen bed hotel room. It was just great. Room was clean, comfortable, climate controlled and nice view of the mountain and down the canyon. There are 3 places... More

This review is for the timeshare side of the Cliff Lodge. The difference? The TS units have doors with screens that open to balconies. They don't have AC. The hotel side doesn't have windows or doors that open. I don't know if they have AC but one of the shuttle drivers said Snowbird had enough complaints that they are doing... More
