My wife and I stayed here with our two children (11 & 12) and my wife's mother for two nights. The owner, Nida, was super-friendly and very helpful. She gave great suggestions for places to visit in the short 2 1/2 days we were spending in Zion. She made filling, tasty breakfasts for us both mornings including accommodating a vegetarian... More

I can tell you Nida, the owner, is very friendly, welcoming and all; however, this place is more like sharing a room with the owner. If you prefer freedom, come and go as you please, find somewhere else. The upside: Less than 10 minute drive to Zion Visitor Center. We got price lowered for not having breakfast. The downside: 1)... We arrived May 5, 2014 and spent 5 days here. Felt very welcomed by Nina. We had arranged our stay in early April, to stay in the Oak Room which has a King Size bed. Being a tall person, it is nice not to have a bed my feet hang off of. Room does not have individual temperature control. In... More

We stayed for two nights in late April of 2014. Initially it was very unwelcoming. When we arrived there was a note on the door that said, "Do not ask for directions to Grafton!" (whatever that means.). We rang the bell and the owner opened the door and just stared at us. No "hello" or "can I help you?" just... More

Nida is a wonderful host and makes delicious breakfast! She gave us so much useful information and showed us all the best outlook spots on the map, especially the ones worth the trek. We felt very well taken care of during our stay and the Amber Inn is a big part of what made our trip unforgettable. I certainly recommend... More

Amber Inn offers spacious and comfortable rooms. The beds are excellent; there is a small individual heater in each room in case you need it. It is in Rockville which is not more than a 5 minute drive from Springdale where we had dinner. The owner, Dinah was very helpful before we even started our trip, exchanging emails and giving... My wife and l stayed 2 nights first of oct The home is a large 2 story built as a b+b with large bedrooms, good beds and a spacious eating area. The breakfast was very tasty with a variety of items. Nida was very helpful with suggestions on sights to see, where to eat and what would keep us busy.... More

This is an unusual review but an important one as we all hope to find a welcoming host and a wonderful place to stay. After months of planning, we were ready to see the national parks in the western states. We had researched each place to stay and were very excited about our visit...until the government shutdown on October 1.... More

We just had a delightful time staying with Nida and Andrei at the Amber Inn. Quite nice and Nida shared so much to do (hiking trailheads, scenic view locations) since the government shut down Zion NP. The silver lining in our government shutdown was we had hiking trails to ourselves, no crowds at the best restaurants or scenic view spots... More

Well located for Zion National Park, less than 10 mins by car. Nida is friendly and very interesting to talk to on a wide range of subjects. Large bedroom, clean, but basic. Quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Springdale but close enough to get to its restaurants in the evening. We stayed for three nights and would go... More
