we only spent a night, but really liked it. The campground is part of the Fremont Indian museum, also excellent. The campground host is very pro-active and does a excellent job. We discovered this campground with the help of Tripadvisor and what a treat. There are many sites to choose from and we had no problem without a reservation. This piece of heaven is a must for all campers. Our whole family loves the beauty of the surroundings! After a long day of driving through very hot country, we were so pleased to arrive at our site (15, I think) at Castle Rock campground. It was shaded by numerous trees and near a babbling creek. We stayed in site 30, along the outer loop and loved it -- lots of shade trees, close to hiking along the rock formations, and fairly private.
