We stayed 2 nights here. It wasn't too bad. We had a good time but it wasn't as clean as we would've hoped. The bathrooms and shower were dirty. The campground is very nice and there is a very nice view.

We stayed in our travel trailer one night. Didn't use the restrooms so can't comment on that. We couldn't go outside our trailer after dusk because of the mosquitoes. I never seen so many. Campsites are large with covered eating area. No trees, no privacy. Nice views of mountains, partial lake view. Paid $30 night, not worth it. Now I... More

We spent 3 days here in a large motor home. The roads were good, paved with wide turn arounds. Level spots, good electric and water. Showers were not very clean and the water was luke warm. The bathrooms also were not very clean. Our biggest issue was the tall weeds and stickers were getting into our dogs feet everywhere and that was... More

This is a place that has potential. Thankfully I only stayed one night. All of the bathrooms are really dirty and appear to never get cleaned. The campground is nice and the surrounding area is nice but whoever is in charge of cleaning may need to find another career. I pee'd in a coffee can instead of using the bathrooms,... More

The park offers nice picnic shelters at each site and all are well spaced apart. I would have been inclined to rate it a 3 or even a 4 if it were not for two big issues and one small one. The biggies: 1) The park hosts drive around a lot and have all the tools for site cleanup. However... More

Stayed here in mid May while on business. The park is quiet and provides quite a bit of space. Shade would be nice and the park needs to invest in shade trees. Bathrooms were clean but more than one stall should be a standard.

We love to stay in state parks where we live (in TX) and choose them over a private park any day. I wish we had done differently here. No shade, heck, no trees! The sites are spaced OK and are more roomy than a private park, but close for a state park. Covered picnic table, water and electric - no... More

Camping in the state park at Utah Lake is fun only if you enjoy bugs swarming you, lots of thorns and thistle weeds! The water is a murky thick green swampy color. I would never swim in it! Terrible experience, we stayed here with family with an RV and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We recently spent several nights in our pop-up camper at Utah Lake State Park. The facilities are nice, the bathrooms clean, and the lake enjoyable. But it would be nice if they planted some trees around the RV camping areas. Even our air-conditioned camper couldn't stay cool under the hot summer sun. The sites had water and electric hook-ups, and... More

Entrance fee is $9 per car, or $2 per walk in. The views are impressive. The water is cold. Surface in lake is rocky, then muddy. Not too much of beach, but expansive lake, best for sailing and speed boats
