I understand that this was the first lodge built in Park City, and it has been charmingly maintained to retain its character. The staff and other travelers were both friendly and helpful. Whenever I needed anything, there was always someone there to get me a blow dryer or band-aid. The room was very comfortable and modestly decorated. The location was perfect... More

This was my second stay at Chateau Après Lodge, the previous one being 4 years ago and it feels like a few things have been refreshed since my last stay. The hotel is basic but well done - clean, space to unpack and with free breakfast and wifi. Jason is a star - incredibly helpful and knowledgable. For a 3... More

This was our first trip to Park City and we stayed at the Chateau Apres with friends and our families just before Christmas. The set-up is perfect for skiers, great breakfast service, comfortable beds, and high quality TVs in the rooms. The owners worked so hard to make us comfortable and feel at home. During our stay, it snowed about... More

I love this place. It's the last of the old ski lodges that were common years ago. It's an old but well maintained family-run lodge that is truly a time capsule--so retro that it's almost hip and trendy. The owners are there all the time and go out of their way to be hospitable. The big bonus is the location;... More

We have a very large extended family and so we rented the entire hotel for a weekend. The bottom level consisted of three common areas: one like a gym (we played games and hung out here, ( it had changing rooms, with showers, sinks, toilets on far side), another (entrance to hotel) area had a round gas fireplace with rounded seating... this place was state of the art in 1962 and not much has changes - but that's ok. old school feel and look to the place. The owners are super nice and somebody was always around to answer a question or help. The location to the base of the ski area is fantastic. It is about a three minute walk... More

Nice inexpensive option for travel to Park City. Practically, on Park Curt Mountain. About a mile walk to town though. Paper thin walls. Many folks seem tone regulars and leave room doors open like its a dorm in college. If your going cheap, I do recommend. However, do understand it's not the Waldorf.

We were grateful to find an affordable place to stay in Park City. The continental breakfast was good. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Clean bedding and towels. The owner was kind enough to loan me a blow dryer when mine broke. They also provided directions, bus information and advice. I would highly recommend to anyone not wanting... More

We decided to head to Park City for President's weekend way late and the only accommodations we could find was Chateau Apres Lodge. Built in 1964 this is a classic '60s vintage ski lodge. The rooms are simple and straightforward - everything you need but nothing extra. There is a gas fireplace in the lodge and the morning breakfasts are... More

If you're looking for a low-key place about a seven minute walk from the Park City lifts, this place is perfect. I stayed in the dorm for one night in February 2015 and it was ideal. It's rustic and the dorm is closer to an army barracks than a three-star resort, but the people are friendly and the place is... More
