I went skiing with a group of friends and we found the two bedroom suite arrangements to be a good value for staying with multiple people. The suite is very spacious, good size kitchen, dining, and living area, quality finishes in the rooms and hallways and comfortable beds. One downside is the VERY thin walls and ease of which you... My first impression was that this place was going to be great; nice lobby, attentive staff, and a well designed property. Unfortunately, after a very short time, It becomes obvious that Escala was built for "show." Every night I was awoken by people talking in the halls returning to their rooms. In the morning, it was impossible to sleep because... More

We just spent a week in 1br unit at Escala with our 2 children. This is a great place for a family vacation. We arrived very early the first day and Craig was very helpful in finding a room for us. The room was very nice just as the other reviews state. I would ask what view your room has.... More

So I read all the reviews both good and bad and they are all correct. Good: Ski in - Ski out Ski Valet Bellman/Doorman Value - Less than $300 per night average Bad: Noisey Rooms/Thin Walls Front Desk is Impersonal Curtains Fail to Block Light The previous guests used soap left in Shower/Bath So overall this is definitely 4 stars.... My family of 4 stayed here for a week of skiing the PC area in February. We booked over 7 months in advance and were able to take advantage of a free night for every 3 nights deal on a 1 BR loft suite (think 1 BR condo with kitchen, laundry, living room/dining area, etc). The suite was amazing. My... More

I just spent a week at the Hyatt Escala at the base of Canyons Ski Resort. The room accoomodations were amazing. Full size kitchen, extra large bathroom, top of the line appliances including washer and dryer. All very important for a ski trip. The ski in/ski out was so convenient and the entire staff was pleasant, helpful, and accomodating. I... More

Excellent property backing onto the Canyons ski area with full ski in ski out . The staff were amazing and really made a difference above and beyond expectations. The kids ( 14, 11) really enjoyed the hot tub/pool area as did mom and dad. Room service, housekeeping , ski valet, concierge and front desk stuff were respomsive, friendly and seemed... More

Let me start by qualifying that I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels. For business I stay in a basic hotel like a Courtyard Marriott. For vacation I stay in 4 stars or above. My basic business hotels have better amenities than Hyatt Escala in Park City and I can honestly say that this is definitely... More

This is the kind of retreat where you don't want to leave. Everything about this hotel is luxurious and relaxing! The service from all of the staff members was gratious and sincere. We'll definitely be returning to this Hyatt when we're in Park City.

WE had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. With the canyons' only real ski in and out lift. The rooms were big and very comfortable. We loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back!
