I stayed for 3 nights at Lamplighter Motel in Panguitch, Utah, for a “glamping” trip to Bryce Canyon. I met Manager Kim at check-in. She is so pleasant, friendly and full of information about the area. When you visit, take a few minutes to chat with her! The Motel has about 13 rooms; very cute horseshoe-shaped motel area. There is... More

If you're in Southern Utah, chances are you're there for the canyons, mountains and trails, not for a frilly hotel. The Lamplighter Inn is definitely not a frilly hotel, but it's a nice spot for a stopover between destinations or a home base for exploring in the Bryce-Zion area. The hotel is family-owned (and the same family owns a good... More

I stayed at the Lamplighter Inn for one night in early April on my way to Bryce Canyon. The owners were friendly. The building is a bit older but by no means falling apart. The room and bathroom were spacious and most importantly, they were very clean. The heater in the room is awesome but can be somewhat loud. Nice... More

On the way to Bryce Canyon the next day. This was perfect for our family. Spacious and comfortable. Plenty of pillows and clean. The evening was very cold and the heater worked great. Easy checkout by using the drop box. No breakfast but we were eager to leave for our trip to Bryce Canyon!!! cute little town of Panguitch. A... More

We stayed for one night to visit Bryce Canyon National Park. It seemed to be kind of old, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a very good price, and absolutely recommend if you don't need a luxurious hotel, but a cheap and nice place to rest.

I know this place has had some dodgy reviews, but we stayed here for 4 nights last month and got a huge room (room 10 at the back of the property), which had two extremely comfortable queen beds, tons of space, all the usual amenities. Okay it's an older place, a bit dreary from the outside, with older furnishings inside,... More

Visiting the Bryce Canyon area. Things were busy so we decided to book ahead, and there was very little available, so we reluctantly settled for 2 nights at the Lamplighter, even though the reviews were not too good. I can do "cheap and cheerful", but this one was neither, and had we not paid in advance, we would definitely not... More

We spent one night here driving through, and found the motel to be quite clean and comfortable. The motel is older, as are all the motels in town, but it is definitely a good value. The staff assisted us in finding decent places to eat as well. We would definitely stay here again!
