When planning our tip, I had trouble finding a vacancy near Bryce at any of the"upscale" hotels so I settled on Harold's Inn. Their prices were so reasonable for a location near Bryce, I was afraid it would be a dump. What a pleasant surprise! We spent 3 nights at Harold's and were very satisfied with our room. It was... Located just outside Bryce Canyon, Harold's Place is a great place to spend a night. We stayed in one of the lower cabins and were very pleased. At this price you wouldn't expect a place so clean and quiet. Loved it!!! And the restaurant is an added plus. We had breakfast and were not disappointed. I strongly recommend this place... More

Stayed 1 night in a cabin mid Sept. I felt I got what I paid for - clean, budget-friendly lodging. Best thing about our stay was hearing the coyotes calling to each other in the night. All commentary about the staff is spot on. Border-line rude, or possibly just quirky. Restaurant was OK. Limited selections. If I were making another... More

The cabins are clean and fairly new. The double bed was comfortable. There is a small fiberglass shower. For the price ($80), it is a good value. I would stay here again. But don't expect any luxury; you are not at a Hilton. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The trout dinner was very good. My main complaint is... More

We were looking for a reasonably priced place to stay near Bryce and found Harold's. We decided to take a chance on the cabins. They were clean, but not fancy. There was no bathtub and only a tiny shower. No microwave and no internet. But we had a good dinner in the restaurant (trout for me and fried chicken for... More

My wife and I were concerned when we arrived. We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't comment on that. The cabins are small but clean. Comfortable bed. Town of Panguitch is close with a few restaurants for dining. Bruce is about 15 minutes away with a nice drive through Red Rock Canyon. A must see in late afternoon.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on tour of US from UK. It is convenient for Bryce Canyon, but that is about all that is going for it. We stayed in the main building where the rooms were small and dated. It is not part of a chain, so you get "homespun" America which includes surly staff and stolid home-made food.... More

This was one stop on our vacation and well worth it! We decided to get one of the cabins and were not disapointed. It was perfect! If you are looking for new and up to date this is not the place for you. Everything was clean and well cared for. Wish we could have stayed longer and looking forward to... More

Harolds place has rooms in the Inn section and individual cabins. Opt for the cabins if you can. They are nice size, with a/c ,a porch, and the same features as the rooms. They are rustic. Our cabins were clean and comfortable.. It appears some of the people running it live on site. The cafe has a limited dinner menu.... More

We just walked in here in search of lodging near Bryce Canyon and were happy enough to find a room for a fair rate. But breakfast was not included (though you get 10% off at their restaurant and it turned out a decent breakfast) and wifi worked ok but not great. Rooms were clean and had a little more character...
