We stayed in the Mesa Cabin. It is tucked against a great red rock wall and faces the narrow valley of Orderville. The location is great for touring the canyons and BLM lands of Southern Utah. The owner had lots of suggestions for things to do and there was tons of literature for all the nearby parks. We found the... More

We loved our stay here. Michelle is a fabulous host. We had the beautiful suite on the top and felt like we had arrived in heaven. Michelle took care of our old doggie, Artie, while we went to Best Friends Animal Society. We also had brought our new kitten, Callasita, and she was played with and entertained while we were... We only stayed one night at the XbarH lodge but now see that we should have booked the whole week. All at once it's in the middle of nowhere AND in the middle of one of the most beautiful parts of the country we've ever visited. Thirty minutes from Zion, an hour from Bryce Canyon, and two hours from the... More

You and your pets will feel pampered here. This place is awesome. Very professionally run and homey at the same time. Loved everything do wn to the great soap in the bathroom! It has ruined staying anywhere else with my dog. The owner is so caring and loves pets AND people. She cares about every person who walks through the... More

I'd scoured a variety of websites, including tripadvisor, for a rental cabin in southern Utah that was genuinely secluded - not the ubiquitous close-up shot where zooming out reveals that the place is actually part of a subdivision, but a proper cabin with some space around it, some privacy, and most of all, a place that blended effortlessly and humbly... If the beauty of a place can be judged by the number of photos you're inspired to take of it, then the XbarH Lodge is truly stunning. From colorful rock formations to tiny flowers, I spent an entire afternoon just roaming and photographing. The only thing I regret not being able to capture with a camera were the stars at... More

My wife Anna and I stayed at the XbarH lodge on the first leg of our move south from Salt Lake City. When we arrived,we were greeted with big smiles and doggy treats from Michele. We stayed in the cabin just behind the lodge, and it was perfect. The place was spotless and equipped with anything thing you could possibly... More

We just got back from a fastastic week at the XbarH. We stayed in the private 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin, which was perfectly furnished with everything we could need. The lodge is located on 70+ acres, which was great for hiking or just relaxing. It's located at the center of the triangle between Zion, Bryce and Best Friends Animal... More

We stayed a week in the Mesa Cabin. It was the perfect spot to explore the area. After an incredible day hiking slot canyons and wandering among the hoodoos we came home to a comfy well equipped cabin to cook dinner, settle in on the porch and wait for the stars to come out.

Easy to get to, good central location for parks & other interesting places. There is hiking around the property & near by areas... More
