The Ogden Marriott is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are really nice (I was on the concierge level - 8th floor). The staff at this hotel is seriously amazing - they are all so very nice and helpful. I had room service twice and the food was great and again the service was top notch. I recommend the Garlic Chicken!... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night in October 2008. We needed a little getaway from the kids. We stayed in a one bed queen room and it felt very comfortable and safe. The linens were wonderful and the room was clean. The room was very quiet. I think we paid about $100 for the night.... more

This is a very complete hotel, modernized with flat screens and very nice restaurant/bar areas plus a small but handy coffee shop. Ogden itself is not a hotbed of activity, but the city's Main Street is a 2 min. walk from the hotel. If this were summer, there's a small ballpark a couple streets away that seems to house minor... more

We stayed at the Ogden Marriott and skied Powder Mountain and Snow Basin. The Marriott is well situated. Across the parking lot are the 12th street restaurants. You can walk to them. They were renovating when we were there. The renovated rooms were MUCH nicer. There were quite a few skiers there. The hotel had a shuttle (free, i think)... more

When we first arrived at the Marriott, we were greeted with the sight of various emergency vehicles at the front entrance. CSI, the sheriff, police and other vehicles didn’t bode well for me. However, there was no sign of any dead body or any criminal activity inside luckily! The hotel has recently been renovated and the lobby area is very... more

I traveled to Ogden for a business meeting and had an amazing stay from day one. The renovated rooms are clean, fresh and extremely spacious. The hallway smelled fresh and I witnessed a housekeeper personally delivering a used room service tray out of guest sight and into a service corridor. I have seen less than impressive reviews on this site,... more

From check in to check out (three nights) we were treated like royalty! When we checked in on Thursday night they were all out of king rooms but had no problem switching us the next day. The ladies at the front desk always greated us by name as we wandered in and out. The rooms were newly decorated and very... more

This hotel is located in the newly revitalized downtown, which is great. The hotel itself is (relatively) old and worn, but they are trying to refurbish it, with mixed results. Got a great price from Priceline, $63 including booking fees. The room had a very strong cleaning chemical smell. I guess this is to try to remove the smoke smell... more

My husband and I needed a break from our very long cross-country trip. We'd been driving for a week and wanted a day off and we wanted to pamper ourselves. The Ogden Marriott was one of the top hotels in the city of Ogden, so we decided we'd stay there and luxuriate. Nope. Not happening. There were plenty of warnings,... more
