We chose to rent a larger room with a jetted tub. It was spacious, and clean. I am handicapped, so for us parking was a nightmare. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. Our room was quiet. Wifi was fast.

Great hotel for the money. Quiet rooms..no slamming doors. Very high speed internet. Good location if you plan to visit Promontory Point and/or Union Station rail museum. Even though the hotel is next to railroad tracks I heard never heard a train my entire stay.

Great best western! Loved the coffee and cappuccino anytime I wanted. Looked like a lodge and customer service was outstanding. Restaurant right next door that also serves room service, although we didn't get any. Only negative thing was the train that runs behind the hotel. It woke us up in middle of night.

Wow, I guess I didn't read the other Tripadvisor reviews before booking this hotel for our first night on the road towing a UHaul trailer. Good: plenty of parking, nice big grassy area for pets behind the hotel, nice staff. Bad: frequent trains rumbling by & blowing horn all the time. Unless you are accustomed to passing trains & horns,... More

Met my cousin's in Ogden prior to skiing at Powder Mountain. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Can't get any better. The only downfall if there was one was breakfast was not included. Jeremiah's next door was very delicious.

This is the worst nights sleep I have ever had a t a hotel. Train trcks run right behind the hotel and trains run all night, blowing there horns directly behind the hotel. It sounds as thought they are right in you room. Definitely not a hotel for weary travellers.

Somewhat disappointed about the fact that we were told at checkout that because there is a restaurant across the parking lot that we could eat breakfast at the restaurant but would have to pay for it. We usually calculate the breakfasts into our room charge, putting it as an extra charge make the room charge at this particular Best Western... More

Friendly check-in. Rachael even pulled up a list of local vets for our ailing dog. Clean and comfortable. The dog area is a highlight for owners of pets. It features a koi pond. The only draw back is probably the lack of the free breakfast. There is a cafe steps away (Jeremiah's). They made us up dinner salads on plates... More

If you stay here, make sure they give you a room on the north side of the building, as there is a busy train track on the south side with trains that run all nite and use their air horns the whole time!

Dear Richard C, I want to apologize that your stay here was disrupted by the passing train. We have been at this location for nearly 35 years, but the train traffic at night has been very heavy the last six months. The owner here is working with the city and local train company to make this area a quiet zone,... More

The service is commendable once the manager is gone. The midshift person I believe her name is Rachel goes out of her way to help you out and make sure all is well. Check-out is interesting as well. If you enjoy trains this is the place for you as I believe this place was built upon a train track and... More

Dear Zaythor, Thank you for taking the time to respond. I apologize that your stay was so disrupted by passing trains. I personally have never seen "My Cousin Vinny", so I don't know the reference. The owner here is currently working with the local city and train company to get this area designated as a quiet zone, so that the... More
