We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in a suite as a party of 3. The hotel itself is impressive for its historic looks, but as for comfort it is lacking. The parking is concerning as the underground parking is closed off except for a small section. There is a limited number of spots on the bottom floor and... More

It was fun to stay at a historic hotel in Ogden. Took my parents, had a 2b2b suite. Double beds are a bit tough when used to a king. I wish they had 2Q for the set up in the double room instead of 2D. Breakfast was ok, not bad, just pretty limited. Hotel could used a thorough cleaning in... More

Very welcoming when we arrived. Rooms are large and comfortable. We arrived late - about 8:30 PM.so with the Pub on the first floor open until 10, we were able to relax with a very good meal and get out of "driving" mode. The complimentary hot breakfast in the morning was also quite nice. We will return!

I loved the view from my window, the mountains and the new Ogden Mormon Temple were beautiful but be prepared for a long wait for the elevator, there were two but one wasn't working. The building itself is very old, so don't expect the most modern furniture and fixtures. Good breakfast and good room at a reasonable price.

Dear Themissjulie, Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to write a review. We are glad you enjoyed the views of the mountains and the Ogden Mormon Temple. We apologize for the difficulty with the elevator, the elevator company had to order a part so it took much longer to repair than we hoped. Happily the part... More

The Ben Lomond is a wonderful one of a kind hotel. It was built in the 20's with the kind of unique details that are not present in modern hotels. When you stay here, it is like belonging to a different (and more elegant) era. And the modern details (comfortable bed, great hot breakfast, etc.) are also there. We have... More

Impressed with the value! Great hot breakfast, charming details throughout hotel, excellent restaurant on top floor called 1107, comfy beds, clean rooms, enjoyed unique historic property and it was less expensive than most other good hotels!

At first glance, the room was great until we noticed that the carpet had many stains. This made us very uncomfortable. We then became fixated on carpets in other areas and found that those in the hallways and in the breakfast room were very dirty and desperately needed a thorough cleaning. Since this was a pleasure trip, we spent part... More

This grand hotel is defintely aging but still displays a grace and elegance from a century ago. The public area is well maintained, the suites less so. But what a treat to stay in such unique accommodations in this day. The beds and linens were average and the suite a bit quaint and dated, but we were comfortable and enjoyed... More

This hotel is historic, beautiful, spacious and the rooms are quiet with nice comfortable beds, clean facilities and offers very nice toiletries, too. The hotel management & staff are super friendly, helpful and bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your stay! There is a wonderful restaurant on the 11th floor with a super beautiful view of the mountains,... More

Traveled to Ogden for my niece's wedding at the end of May (Union Station). We booked 3 suites, 2 on the 7th floor. TOTALLY LOVED: the beauty and historic charm inside and out, the antique elevators, the antique shop downstairs, the scenes on the interior windows of each room, the spacious 2 room suite with access to large bathroom from...
