We stayed at the Ben Lomond on a trip across the country because Ogden was on our way. The other motels and hotels in the downtown area looked pretty creepy / gross so we decided to spend a little more than we budgeted to stay in a deluxe suite at the Ben Lomond. To our surprise, the AAA discount turned... more

This hotel was great. We got the king suite and it was huge. They had high ceilings and big bathrooms. They had all these creepy pictures of women walking through the woods. The sinks made a horrible noise when you turn them on. There were three tvs in the suite but none of them had a dvd or vhs player.... more

Front Desk are very friendly, helpful and professionals. The Front Desk Manager by the name of Nora made me feel at home and well taking care off. I will come and stay again and recommend it to my family and friends. If you want a piece of history you will find it at the Ben Lomond Hotel. more

Colleagues and I were excited to go to ogden to skii. We had planned this for quite some time. I had personally been there in September of last year, it wasnt so bad then but now....... horrible. It was embarassing after talking about how wonderful it was back then and now bringing my friends to go see the place, they... more

We arrived at the hotel at about midnight on a Friday night and were able to get a deluxe suite without reservations. The room had an old look to it and the lighting was dim, but it was very clean and had a nice feel to it. We were on the fourth floor. As noted in another review, the pipes... more

I have no idea what people who liked this hotel are talking about. It was extremely shady and had strange smells everywhere like 10 different kinds of inscense burning. The lobby was very dark and depressing. The two girls at the front were nice, but totally unprofessional as a hotel lobby should have. It seemed like they didn't know what... more

Living in Ogden, I have stayed at the Ben Lomond on several occasions rather than drive home late at night. This hotel is really hit and miss. The third floor has been remodeled and has pretty nice rooms, minus the bathrooms. For some reason, the bathrooms have not been updated . The rooms have a nice couch, chair, two television... more

My son had a Karate clinic in Ogden, and we drove around for over an hour trying to find a decent hotel. Ben Lomond was the final choice. Parking was easy, check in was smooth. The room was large and very clean, but at a closer look, the ceiling was buldging in spots and the wallpaper was pealing. The room... more

My Wife and I have just had a wonderful few days in the Powder Mountains of Ogden with the Ben Lomond as our comfortable home base. I found myself wandering off to explore the building and lovely grand halls while my wife checked in. The comfortable funky bar had a jazz band from LA playing on the Friday night and... more

This place looked great on the website. Apparently only the 3rd floor has been remodeled the rest of the hotel is a dump. Stained furniture, no security parking (even though when I called ahead they said there was). The topper was the mold on the soap...which was still in the box. Unless they guarantee you a spot on the 3rd... more
