We stayed two nights in two rooms in the older (1950s?) part of the lodge. It was early in the season and it seemed we were one of few guests. The large rooms weren't anything special, but were more than adequate for our needs. Clean and comfortable. The light bulb was burnt out in the recessed ceiling light in one... more

Arrived with reservations for four days only to find no one available at the desk for 20 minutes (was told by gift shop employee she will get here when she gets here). Found room to be dusty, and smelled like mold. Dirt on bathroom floor, lights out above vanity and air conditioning unit barely working in 85 degree weather. Asked... more

First stop on a two-week Grand Circle trip out of Las Vegas. Got there by going through Zion N.P. Accommodations basic, but good. Room was clean, people pleasant and helpful. Restaurant with the lodge was also basic, but good. At the end of a long day we found there were not a lot of choices in Mt. Carmel. Pies are... more

I stayed here for 3 days whilst visiting Zion & Bryce Canyon. It's a Lodge hotel but it's got air conditioning, refrigerator, internet access although I found cell phone access difficult. The food was fine and the staff great. Ruby's Hotel in Bryce is OK but real pricey so this lodge turned out to be a real find and great... more

The hotel itself is fine but isn't in the best location if you're coming from the west as it takes a long time driving though Zion. The food in the restaurant is absolutely AWFUL!! I ordered the past carbonara (which was blatantly out of a jar) and my husband ordered roast chicken (he said it was the worst food he's... more

Was given a choice of two rooms both of which were of good quality. The hotel was a reasonable distance frrom Bryce and Zion and has a swimming pool and golf course. Not many restaurants or shops close by. The Hotel Restaurant was a bit on the cool side but fine with a jumper. more

Yes, this hotel is older, but it is extremely well maintained, very clean, and offers amenities not often found for the price -- a public golf course, excellent on-site restaurant, extensive gift shop, adjoining gas station (with very reasonable prices), and very large rooms with private balconies/patios. Did I mention clean? Extremely! And quiet, also! Highly recommended. more

I must admit that at first I thought I was tricked into staying at an older hotel. Seemed more like a motel to me, and it was not like in the picture. However, after we checked into our room, we loved the spacious room. Plenty of room for a rollaway bed, and still plenty of room. Our car was right... more

This is a Best Western so don't expect a full time butler. For $112 we got a great room, nice shower, situated on the golf course. The restaurant if fine, I had a chefs salad, my so had the home made shaved beef dinner, he was happy. The pool looks great, still love the pools where they separate the kids... more

I selected the East Zion Lodge based on location. I wanted a "base camp" to travel to Zion NP, Bryce NP, and the North Rim of the GC. Good quality roads to these areas from the hotel. The hotel was fairly clean and large enough for me, the wife, and kids (11 and 16). The High-speed internet worked fine and... more
