This is a Best Western so don't expect a full time butler. For $112 we got a great room, nice shower, situated on the golf course. The restaurant if fine, I had a chefs salad, my so had the home made shaved beef dinner, he was happy. The pool looks great, still love the pools where they separate the kids... more

I selected the East Zion Lodge based on location. I wanted a "base camp" to travel to Zion NP, Bryce NP, and the North Rim of the GC. Good quality roads to these areas from the hotel. The hotel was fairly clean and large enough for me, the wife, and kids (11 and 16). The High-speed internet worked fine and... more

This hotel was really great and upscale compared to other Best Westerns. I still think it's the best hotel in the entire Zion region, and it's very conveniently located to the park as well. If you're staying for more than a day, then this is the hotel to stay at. more

Needed a place to stop halfway between Salt Lake City and Phoenix. When I booked the room using the Best Western website it advertised free high speed internet and pool/jacuzzi. The hotel had neither. Better said, the hotel had all of those things, but none of it was working. Management was unable to diagnose and fix the high speed internet.... more

The hotel is a tad outdated, but overall very good. We stayed on the second floor, but since there is no elevator, we had to haul our luggage up the steps. The room is fine and we had no complaint. The onsite restaurant's food is horrible. more

We stayed in the end room of the one story building right on the golf course from the 29-30 and it was WONDERFUL! The room was large, the bed was comfy, everything was clean. There was a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room and there was a patio with a great golf course view. There were deers that... more

I really liked this place. If you go in expecting the earth sun and moon I suppose you would be disappointed but I thought it was a perfect place. While it is true that the place a is a little rustic I was pleasently surprised. I went to Utah expecting a nice woodzy getaway and that is everything the Thunderbird... more

I had stayed at the Golden Hills Motel across the street before. I thought an upgrade for $30.00 or more would provide a better stay for myself and my 22 year old son. We were going to spend several days at Zion National Park. Mt Carmel Junction is 13 miles East of there. The room was nothing to write home... more

Checkin painfully slow. Reason tendered - new computer system. Reserved (documented) two nights, king bed. Hotel recorded 1 night two queen beds (they received reservation from Best Western website and then manually entered into their system). Supposedly new system will correct this problem. Had to run hot water for 10 minutes before hot water came out of faucet. Reason tendered... more

After reading several reviews and viewing the hotel photo, we decided to book this hotel. Believe me, it is not what you see online. We drove up to this Best Western, and we all were shocked. The rooms are actually behind a gas station/conv. mart. The photo on the website shows a golf course. Well that is behind the MOTEL.... more
