First of all, the Zion Mountain Resort is close to the national park, but still far enough from the touristy commotion of the park lodge. The drive into the park is glorious from that side. We toured Phoenix, Vegas and the national parks, and of them all this was the one place we wished we had booked longer. Cute little cabins but too close together. Our biggest complaint was that our cabin was filthy! We complained and were offered another cabin, not quite as nice. It was filthy too.
