we stayed while visiting the park, and it was awesome. The views from the balcony were amazing and since we were there in offseason, the prices were nice as well. the on site restaurant is fine, the gift shop a bit pricy, but for the main attraction, seeing the park, it is spot on. We would stay again if we... More

Loved the lobby and the artwork, rugs, and Kachina dolls. The rooms are nice with the influence of the Navajo culture. This is a very clean and nice hotel....not luxurious...but just what I wanted. It was snowing so heavily that we did not get to see the sun rise in the east from our balcony. Wonderful high quality Native American... More

We stayed at The View Hotel for two nights during an American road trip holiday as a base for exploring Monument Valley and the clue is in the title as this was the best view from a hotel room I have ever had. Although we got a suite in Vegas for less money the View Hotel is worth every penny... More

Beautiful hotel located right next to the famous mitten buttes in Monument Valley,, AZ. Almost every room in the hotel faces the buttes and has a balcony to sit and enjoy the view. The lobby boasts a beautiful two stories tall, large stone fireplace. The only thing which was disconcerting was the terrible snowstorm of 14" they had and another... More

The hotel has a world-class location and views. It's new, and the rooms are spacious, with lovely bathrooms with - an all time first in a US hotel for me - Bath sheets!!! So luxurious! Beds are very comfortable with great pillows, but it's all about the view. You can sit on your balcony and stare for hours at the... More

The View Hotel has great views but if you don't have to stay in it, I would avoid. The service was terrible from start to finish, the staff clearly don't give a stuff about you or your experience, the more credible ones speak as if they've swallowed a manual and the rest are just plain rude. It snowed heavily overnight... More

We spent two nights here during our visit. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a view that could not be beat. The food at the hotel was good. It has a fairly limited menu but we enjoyed everything we ordered. The gift shop had Navajo crafts for every budget. I was able to purchase several rugs and some jewelry... More

Because of the view in the balcony it's the best hotel I have ever been. It's breathtaking, especially at sunset. It so amazing and you can take amazing pictures! It's definetly worth going, even though the price is not so cheap.

What a location, it could not be more appropriately named. Large room with the most wonderful view ever. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food great. We had dinner in the hotel and the menu offered a good choice including authentic Navajo food. If you are going to Monument Valley you should stay here for at least one night. Fantastic experience,... More

The View is aptly named because every room has a spectacular view of Monument Valley. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious Navajo inspired food & has friendly service. It's easy to walk down into the valley from the hotel. But it's really all about the view. Ask for a third floor room to see the stars.... More
