Check in was quick and after a short walk down the corridor we found our "Room with a View". Wow ! what a view it was - a visual memory that will stay with us forever. The room itself was adequately spacious with the décor reflecting a "Native American" influence. The full height sliding door pulled back to reveal a... More

We stayed one night at The View when visiting Monument Valley. The location can't be beat. It is where you want to be to see the park. If you book a tour, the company will likely meet you in the lobby. Views from the rooms are unforgettable. While there is no wifi in the room, there is wifi in the... More

Hotel beautiful, views from our room amazing but our evening meal was atrocious. We booked & checked with the restaurant that it would be open so we could take the sunset tour around the valley. Arrived and ordered the 'Navajo Green Stew', highly recommended by the Lonely Planet Guide. When it arrived the plate had bits of meat (?) green... More

the view is stunning - it is ... the rooms were under maintainence which I don't mind - no decorations (we got a 20 USD voucher to spend in the shop for that) bathroom is huge - but it needs to improve on soundproof - far too loud - we had a couple upstairs walking for 2 hours up+down the... More

I have stayed here a few times and always enjoy the spectacular view from each room. The hotel was built so all guests would see the iconic Mittens. You can tour a good portion of the park without a guide but if you want to see it all you will need to be guided by one of the Navajo staff.... More

But don't pay extra for a "Sky view" room. They all have the same view. The claim is that because there is no balcony above the top floor you get an unobstructed view of the night sky. Fact is, there is a soffit above the balcony that overhangs that same amount that balconies hang over the lower floors. It is... More

This hotel has an incredible location overlooking the most gorgeous view of the valley itself. What impressed me was that the hotel was built with great sensitivity to the surrounding landscape and blends into the natural beauty of the valley. There are a limited number of rooms and all of them enjoy a view of the valley. We were on... More

Stayed here in May 2015. Top tip is to stay when it's a new moon as that's when you get the best stargazing opportunities, however the night we stayed was pretty much a full moon which, while not ruining the views, meant it was too light to see a lot of the views (e.g. Milky Way!). Hotel was comfortable, although... More

Stayed here in the "off season" and the rate was really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy. Each room has a full view of Monument Valley. Service is friendly and accommodating. A full breakfast is included with the room. The Wildcat Trail starts here and is a very fun adventure. This is... More

We stayed here 2 nights including New Year's Eve. The outlook is amazing and once out in the desert, looking back at the hotel, it's not an eyesore. The rooms are comfortable and the balcony view is incredible.
