I was a bit worried about tent camping at Gouldings, but we picked a spot away from the RVs and it was surprisingly fine! We just needed to stay one night. It was not a cheap campsite at $32 (we had 2 children), but certainly less expensive than the lodges nearby. You could hear noise from the road -- it's... more

We stayed for one night and were pleased with the rooms. The location can't be beat -- from the little balcony outside our room we looked out over the valley. There is a good restaurant, a gift shop (of course!) and a museum (which we did not have time to visit). It seems this hotel is very popular with bus... more

My fiance and I stayed at Gouldings Lodge for 1 night in May 2009. We stayed in one of the ground floor cabins at the very front of the property. The location was great. From our cabin window we could see the Monument Valley skyline clearly and the Valley ticket gate was less than 5 minutes by car. The room... more

We just spent two nights at the campground in our motor home and completely enjoyed it. The Campground is located in a beautiful canyon with easy access, even with a toad. The sites are lovely with trees and flower beds all around and views down the canyon into Monument Valley. Even a private "Hidden Arch" is just a walk away.... more

I stayed in Cabin 2 on the camp grounds with my parents. For $90 a night, this was a great deal. TV with some cable/sat channels, shower, bathroom sink, kitchen sink, microwave, small fridge, AC, 1 bunk bed, 1 loft bed, 1 queen bed. At night, they played John Wayne movies at the theatre. There is a hidden arch behind... more

We stayed in one of the cabins in the campground and I must say this was the best lodging value of our vacation. The cabins are clean, well furnished, very quiet at night, and roomy. You can comfortably sleep 6 adults in one cabin. They have a kitchen, bath/shower, small desk/table, two full size beds and two bunk beds, and... more

I have visited Monument Valley on several occasions. I always wanted to stay at the Goulding's Monument Valley Lodge. I must say that the experience was disappointing. The Lodge is pricey for what you receive. The nightly rate was about $180 for a small room that barely had enough room to put out the suitcase rack. The room was clean... more

We are a family of 5 and stayed here in Jan 2009 for 1 night. I had booked a 4 bedroom house, so the kids could sleep in their own bed, instead of 2 in the same bed (we'd been travelling for nearly 2 weeks by the time we got here, the 2 yougest were sick of sharing a bed.)... more

My wife and I stayed at the Goulding's Campground over Memorial Day weekend (2009). The registration process went smoothly, the staff very pleasant, and the site was worth the price. We took the free shuttle to the Lodge/Restaurant and watched the free video. We camped overnight during a rainy time so the red dirt was not a problem. 30 and... more
