You could sleep in a shack and wake up to the view you get at Gouldings and not be disappointed. However the room I had not only had one of the most amazing views I've ever had, it was large, comfortable and immaculately clean. The bed was also first rate. It was also incredibly cheap. Oh and the wifi was... More

Was thoroughly delighted with this hotel, especially with the price we got during the off season! Was traveling with my 14 year old nephew who has stayed in some swanky hotels and he loved it also. The staff was very friendly on check in, very patient and helpful. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, wi-fi was good and tv... More

On our travels to Monument Valley in October, we stayed at Gouldings. It was terrific. Lovely room (all rooms face Monument Valley), gorgeous views, a good and reasonable restaurant and fantastic gift shop. They also arranged a sunset jeep tour for us. It was a fabulous experience. Gouldings also has some of the sets from the movie "She Wore a... More

Amazing views - cannot be beaten. Was wonderful watching the sunset and sunrise from the balcony of our room. Bed ok - pillows a bit lumpy. Bathroom adequate. Was good to enter a warm room on a bitterly cold day. Stay there for the view - not for a trendy room.

The price is right at this hotel, only paid $50 during low season. The staff was very helpful and gave us a room upgrade. We had a one bedroom apartment suite with a balcony. The view from every room is spectacular! Situated right across monument valley. The down side is, the hotel is outdated and in need of a facelift.... More

The campgrounds just down the road from the lodge were a decent place to stay overnight. The grounds were fairly basic but the facilities were pretty good. Some interesting rock features to quickly explore around the grounds. The indoor pool was a pleasant surprise. The showers in the shop were clean. First come first serve campgrounds.

We stayed here on our visit to Monument Valley and were very impressed, check in was friendly and efficient and the room was furnished to a higher quality than a lot of the places we found on our trip. We were there in the low season and thought the rate we got through Hotels.com was great value. The only weakness... More

This place is amazing. Wonderful views from our room and balcony, exceptionally clean and the staff as very helpful and friendly. The supermarket is not over prices (as you might expect it to be, being this far from a major town), it has a post office, the bed was awesome, the restaurant staff are great and the food is very... This has to be the best $55/night hotel we've ever stayed at. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, and the room offered breathtaking views of the monuments from a balcony furnished with a bistro table and chairs. We stayed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and the hotel was at or near capacity. The hotel is part of a large complex featuring... More

Woody Guthrie would have been further inspired here. Waking up in the comfortable bed to the morning light shining on the Mittens was a "as good as it gets " moment for me. A cute museum and a friendly cafe with great hashbrowns w/ a little onion made the morning. Don't make this a skip! Reasonable.
