after staying here we made so many people jealous...the helpful lady in the visitor centre in Page, the woman on the vip desk at the venetian in las vegas, and even the steward on the flight home to the uk.....and why, you may ask? well....because they all want to stay in a Hogan, and apart from us, and the other... Four of us stayed for 2 nights in the larger Hogan at Firetree B&B. It was dark by the time we arrived, but Martin's instructions could not have been clearer, and once we pulled into the driveway we were greeted with a warm welcome. Martin gave us touring suggestions that turned out to be better than what was recommended in... More

We stayed one night in the smaller hogan while on a trip to Monument Valley. The three mile dirt and sand road was quite daunting and we were glad we had hired a four wheel drive. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Raquel and found the hogan to be far more comfortable than we were expecting. I... More

We stayed here for one night before visiting the Monument Valley National Park the following day. Unfortunately we arrived late due to a mix up of time zones (!) so by the time we got there it was dark, but we were warmly greeted by our hosts and settled in nicely for our night in the Hogan. The Hogan itself... More

We stayed in the larger hogan for one night on a busy road trip around Utah, Colorado and Arizona. We were very excited to stay in such an unusual place and none of us (mum, dad and two boys) were disappointed. Upon arrival, the boys disappeared to explore the hills behind whilst we sat in one of the little 'nooks'... More

We chose to sleep at the Fire Tree to have an unique experience. And it sure was something out of the ordinary. Instead of a room you get a Hogan (traditional Navajo housing, made out of wood and mud). Only this is a luxury version of a Hogan, with gorgeous wood details and beautiful comfortable beds. The bathrooms are in... More

We loved our stay at the FireTree in! The owners were unbelievably nice, and the hogan was certainly unique. We were a little worried about the dirt road on the way in, but somehow made it in a tiny rental car. Staying that far off the beaten path isn't something we get to do often - for us, it was... My wife and I took our first trip out west (we are from the NC Beaches). Our experiences to date have been tremendous, lots of fun and informative. However I must say the highlight of our trip was staying at the Firetree Bed & Breakfast on July 19th. We stayed in one of their HOGANS; dirt floor, logs covered with... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night, having made the choice to stay here based upon the many great reviews on Trip Advisor. We, however, did not find Firetree to be that memorable, and certainly don't feel that the high price is justified. Upon arrival we entered the "reception" area, which is essentially the owner's private residential space.... More

I am doing a two week tour of the southwest with the grandkids aged 10,8,4. I wanted to give them an authentic experience in monument valley and this place was perfect. They loved it so much they asked to go back the next day! They are used to camping out however. Things you should realize before you book are 1.... More
