After a long day on the road we stayed here. I wondered why there were no other cars inthe parking lot. We opened the door to our room and were hit with the overpowering smell of air freshener, which evaporated after we left the room door and window open for over 3 hours with the air conditioner on full blast.... more

We reserved a room at the Canyonlands, because our family members recommend it. Overall, it was clean and cheap compared to the extremely expensive (82+tax) for the Days Inn and Roadway Inn down the road. We stayed in a two queen bed room for 45+tax. From the very beginning the manager was extremely nice, provided us a room in the... more

I booked this motel because of it's number 1 rating on Tripadvisor. The motel asked for a credit card to guarantee the reservation. On check-in, I was asked to prepay for the room We made the mistake of arriving late, (for Monticello), 19:30, put our cases in the room and looked for dinner. When we got back, we had a... more

I didn't think it was possible to rent a clean motel room for $40 a night in one of the most beautiful parts of the United States - but I was wrong! Our experience from booking to checking out was positive. The motel owners are very pleasant and seemingly committed to making their customers happy. However, before you get too... more

We go to the yearly Jeep Safari in Moab and usually stay in Monticello or Blanding. However, after reading some reviews we thought of trying the Canyonlands Motor Inn in Monticello. The place was clean and the rate was great. The management was very nice and I would love to stay here again. This is the best place we have... more

Rooms are big and clean. Fridge and coffeemaker are provided. Frontdesk was very friendly and helpful. We paid $45 + tax., the Days Inn a couple of blocks further down the street makes you pay $70-75 for the same kind of room (altough they do offer free continental breakfast). I would definetely recommend this hotel. A good location if you... more

The hotel itself was okay, clean, everything worked fine, the owner was quite nice. The town of Monticello on the other hand was dinky and a little creepy, like the person before me said, definently worth bypassing. Had I known this I would have kept driving and stayed in Cortez, Colorado instead. more

We spent about a half hour going around to the motels in Monticello and stayed at the Canyonlands because the rate was great and the room was nice and clean. My husband is very picky, so we have to see each room before agreeing to rent it. Well I am happy to say it was a great stay (only one... more

I wasn't expecting much for $50. We stayed in Monticello after hiking all day in Arches and were on the way to Monument Valley the following morning. The room was very subpar. The wood on the staircase was totally rotted and was surprised we didn't fall through. The innkeeper was very nice and friendly. Not much in this town, everything... more
