Best value and friendliest stay of our entire trip. We decided to stay an extra night and they helped us find another pet room at another place in town. Well worth when visiting canyonlands and southern Utah.

Staff was rude on the phone when we were booking. So I tried to cancel it was so bad I asked for a refund and the refused. We had to dispute it on our credit card! Would never ever stay there!!! We just couldn't believe how bad of customer service this place had!

I am the owner and just read your review.. Do you mind telling me if you talked to a gentleman or a lady? I would like to get to the bottom of this and who you talked to that treated you rudely. I personally go overboard myself with customers so that they have a great experience with our hotel. Great... More

We stayed in Monticello on our way to Canyonlands NP, because it was far less expensive than Moab, and we didn't regret it. There really isn't much to see or do in Monticello, but the Monticello Inn is a great place to stay for a night, if you are just passing through. The owner was the friendliest lady we encountered... This is a typical 1950s/1960s roadside motel. The owners do keep it well maintained and moderately updated. The room had a new bed and new carpet, the bathroom was partially updated. However, the structure itself has not been renovated. This means very thin walls with zero sound proofing since it was not part of the design in those days. Pros:... More

We stayed in Monticello to visit Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The Monticello Inn was nice and very reasonable. Nice thick towels and retro tile bathroom. The owners couldn't have been nicer. We love staying in hotels like these, where you can park in front of your door.

We were traveling and there were only three hotels with rooms available in Monticello. Unfortunately, we did not choose the higher priced one but felt this motel would do for the night. It was dirty (don't look behind the furniture -- Yikes!), old and just not comfortable. The wifi just didn't work at all. Seems they must have only one... More

Monticello Inn's staff is friendly and patient. I learned this when we were not there 10 minuets and locked myself out and Yutah in. Then I proceeded to lose the key (finally found it under Yutah in the back seat) but ........... The rooms are older but more retro with nice tiled baths. I would certainly suggest it for anyone... Only complaint is that the walls are thin, but the new AC/heating system when turned on can block out the noise. The mother & daughter in the office were pleasant & helpful--they suggested we eat at the new Horsehead Cafe, where we enjoyed Navajo tacos. Thought it was nice to see several elderly gentlemen chatting while sitting in the chairs... More

Stopped in Monticello on a road trip and found this little gem of a motel. Rooms were updated, clean, with flat screen tv, microwave and fridge. Friendly staff even recommended a local restaurant for dinner. Appreciated a restful night.

We stayed at the Monticello Inn awhile ago and I've been meaning to write this review. We ended up in Monticello, UT after being unable to find accommodations in Moab, UT for less than $200/night. The owner of the Monticello Inn was extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and most of all, affordable. I would absolutely stay... More
