Completely refurbished with all mod cons. We didn't want to spend so much money and being the middle of the week, Sunny, the owner, helped us out. We ended up, quite on a lark, getting the honeymoon room - complete with a red heartshaped jaccuzzi spa!! Spacious, clean, windows that open!! A fantastic view of the Abajo (Blue) Mountain, deer... This was a mistake. No coffee in the room, but available in the lobby. Nice staff, but I couldn't figure out who was coming to doors, tapping three times, getting let in, then slamming the door. This happened several times during the night. More

Dear OuttenAbout, I truly apologize for the unfortunate experience you had during your stay with us!! It is strange that someone would be causing such noise and disturbances during the night, but we will be strictly monitoring our hallways to prevent any disturbances to our guest. We want our guest to have the best when they stay with us. Thank... More

I read the reviews on this place, and they wern't good, but they were mostly a year old. We were traveling with friends who already had made reservations here. I was pleasently suprised. Our room had new tile, carpets, and paint. The room was clean and bug free. I made my own waffle in the morning, and it was easy and... More

I will never stay in this hotel again!! absolutely filthy.........slapping on some paint and putting a new television in the room does not make for a "renovation". I cant believe i paid 86.00 to stay in this dump! More

The second we walked into the room it smelled just awful! It smelled like someone had been cooking in there for months. The carpet was filthy with large spots all over it. A football team was spending the night, too, and the noise from up above us kept us up until well after midnight. Poor insulation between rooms! Because there... More

Smelly room, incessant buzzing all night long. Dirty bathroom. Stains on the bedspread. We stayed because it was in the Triple A book. Not worth the money. More

Seriously, Does the state agencies ever inspect this establishment? The stairway's are filthy. One exit door boarded up-with a sign to not use. We had NO smoke detector in our room-just wires hanging down. A really big no no was a tub of butter and a jelly jar for hotel guests to share. The pastries were ice cold and the... More

We went since the rate was decent and it got a few fair ratings; afterall, it was Memorial Day weekend; and we couldn't find anything else in the area, on the spur of the moment...the lobby was adequate; the clerk barely spoke English, but had our reservation, so 4/5 stars there...then downhill...the halls and stairs were like pigstys; stains from... This doesn't look great from the outside, but it is adequate inside. It is clean and quiet. The rooms are large enough to have a micro and fridge with a small table and chairs and still room to move around. Our biggest complaint revolves around the complimentary breakfast. Waffles, donuts, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs are fine. The butter is a... More

This was a freebie night for me with Choice Privileges rewards spring promotion (www.choicehotels.com) and was the only one on the way from Monument Valley that I could use my points for)... so I can't say anything about $ value. The manager was a nice, sincere man and really wanted to make his motel very good... but I don't think... More
