We wanted to visit Canyonlands and this looked like the place to do it from. The staff were very nice and very helpful. They were doing some renovation to a few of the rooms which didn't brother us. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again.

I had stayed here in the past, for work related travel. The last time was in 2009. There were bed bugs, poor customer service and the room was very old, grungy... Based on recent reviews, I thought I'd try it again. The owners have made a lot of progress - updated the mattresses (comfortable), cleaned up the paint and furniture.... More

This hotel is nicer than I expected for a Rodeway Inn. They are remodeling the lobby and the ice machine was broken. You could bring your ice bucket to the front desk and they would fill it from 10 lb. bags of ice they had. The room was nice enough and the bed was comfortable. The attendant had to help... More

Monticello is a very small town with just a handful of hotels - and the only reason I can think of staying here is if you are visiting Arches / Canyonlands NP and couldn't find suitable lodgings in Moab. We did exactly that ended up staying at the Rodeway Inn in Monticello. It's exactly what you expect from a small... More

It is a very clean room. The beds are nice and comfy. I had an extended stay, 5 nights. The breakfast is basic. The staff is helpful. When asked my room was cleaned very well. (Helps to give a tip). My main complaint was Wifi.. it was constantly going down. Now - I might expect the wifi to kick me... More

Room was functional and clean. The bed was quite comfortable and the price in February was quite good. Hotel is on the edge of the small town of Monticello, but close enough to the few restaurants in the town.

Watch out for the entry curb! Concrete is all broken up and will hurt. Small town, good hotel on the main drag. Friendly staff. Well equipped room w/ microwave, fridge, free wifi and all the channels Utah can offer. Three-way lamps a good touch. Shower adequate. Clean room with white coverlet which is now recommended for all hotels so you... More

This was a cosy little town, great for a couples retreat on a budget! For the price, and just a sleepover, we were comfortable. The furniture and decor had kitchy pop art touches. By this I mean 60's Warhol style lamps and even an ottoman matching a chair with retro style- picture that Austin Powers fulm- really disco colorful.

This may be the better one in Monticello. But you may be better served to get to Moab for the night. Breakfast is OK. POSITIVES: Open on Christmas; Reasonably clean; Convenient location; Thick bedding cover; Quiet room. NEGATIVES: Pool is not open; Water faucet has a flow control; Room is quite small. The reason that I stayed in this hotel... More

Thank you for choosing to stay at Rodeway Inn in Monticello! Clean, comfortable rooms with great customer service is our main concern and we are happy to be open at Christmas Day to accommodate guests. Our pool is currently closed as we are waiting on a part but will hopefully be up and running again soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.... More
