The Grist Mill Inn B&B was the last stop on a 4300 mile loop from Arizona to Ohio and back. We tried to find interesting B&Bs near the end of day along our driving route. This day found us in the vicinity of Monticello, UT in the late afternoon; hence we selected the Grist Mill Inn. It is a very... More

My wife and I were driving from the Grand Canyon to Moab (5/24/2014) and found Monticello a good place to stop for a night before the congestion of Moab . . .As it turned out, the Grist Mill (and Heather) was so special we decided to stay an extra night! This former Grist Mill has character with several original milling... More

This was our first time staying at a B&B. The Inn is historic which was pretty cool but it does need some updating. A young couple bought the inn a while back and they are very nice. I am sure as they can afford to they will work on the restoring the inn back to its former beauty. The breakfast... More

Stopped here for one night and I wish I could've stayed longer! Nice room and very comfortable bed. I definitely had a great nights sleep. The owner and hostess of the inn is so incredibly nice and friendly...makes you feel at home! AMAZING breakfast! She cooks it her self at the moment.

And there we were ... my wife and I were trying to get to Moab after visiting Monument Valley (yeah I know - long drive LOL) and found ourselves in Monticello around 7pm. It was already dark when we decided to stay and looked for a recommended hotel. Outr of the corner of my eye I saw a sign and... More

We spent one night at the Grist Mill Inn. We found it relaxing and comfortable. The room was nice sized with a queen and single bed. The bed was VERY comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The hostess is young lady with a charming, friendly personality; she was very helpful in giving local information. Breakfast was tasty and... More

We rented several rooms for a family reunion on the first weekend in October. We live in the area and had previously rented a cabin on the Blue Mts, but that wasn't in the budget this year. Heather and David gave us a great price(much less than we paid for a cabin) and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved... More

My husband and I had a relaxing and enjoyable one night stay at the inn. The hostess is energetic, and makes one feel at home with the inn . We were on the Way to Sedona, Az from Denver Co. and broke the trip here. Accomodations are clean and comfortable and we would return if in the area again.

Just returned from an extended trip through Colorado, Arizona, Utah and California and passed through Monticello, staying at the Grist Mill only one night. Have to say that this was one of the warmest welcomes we received on our Grand Tour ...... and that's saying something given the reputation for good service generally in US! Heather and her husband are... More

The managers at the inn did an excellent job making us feel comfortable not only with our accomodations, but also with helping us feel like this was home away from home. They did very well with the themes of every room to match the rustic look of the B&B. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Everything... More
