The Inn at the Canyon was definitely the top choice to choose from when staying in Monticello, Utah. Conveniently located across the street from the recommended best place to eat while in Monticello (I remember the restaurant starts with "Peace"), we had everything we needed at our literal finger tips! The back view from the second floor portrayed a lovely... More

Stayed here one night as it's convenient for the Needles part of Canyonlands NP. Good value for money. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it. On the plus side, the beds very comfortable and the shower good. The towels were very soft, something of a rarity these days! Sink hot water warm only - took ages for hot... More

Wasn't expecting much in this tiny town but was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, clean room with all the trimmings including small fridge and micro. Open sunroom area for breakfast seating. Good shower, everything worked including the hair dryer; wireless reception was good; quiet downstairs room with good reading light and comfortable bed. Good recommendations for dinner and I chose right... More

We stayed here for the 2nd time - this seems to be the best option in Monticello. Rooms are a bit on the old side, but very clean. Breakfast was very crowded in the morning, so we had to take ours to our room as there were no seats left. Staff are very friendly - we arrived an hour before... More

Spent one night here after a long day of driving and sightseeing. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist who gave us some ideas of where to eat dinner. (I wish we had just gone across the street to what looked like a health food restaurant, cuz they had a wine and beer license.) We enjoyed the hot tub and... More

Had a couple of nights here as an alternative to staying in Moab, which, at weekends, is ridiculously overpriced. The Inn at the Canyons is a smart independent in a convenient location for Natural Bridges or the Needles District of Canyonlands. Beds comfy, bath, clean and tidy, with a lovely looking indoor pool, although we didn't use it. When we... More

Just spent four nights here as we couldn't get anything in Moab. Glad we did. The hotel is clean, comfortable. Plenty of parking. The breakfast is adequate. The pool is a big plus, clean and a good size you feel that you have actually swam a length. Don't know what previous reviewers had with the Spa but it was working... More

Room appeared to be clean, however, very strong moldy odor seemed to be coming from bathroom (rm 210). Pool very pleasant, breakfast was adequate. Noisy a/c unit in room. Good location. Great little restaurant across the street.

Redone but looks new. Rooms clean and nice and a pretty good breakfast. Close to Canyon Lands NP, Dead Horse Canyon and several other scenic areas in Utah. There are not many places to stay there so make your reservation early. Moab is close with a several good restaurants, try the small beer brewery.

Best place of 6 in Monticello?? We must have blinked and missed three. We chose to stay here instead of pricey Moab. Okay stay but you get what you pay for. Loud air conditioner, stairs to second floor, inoperable hot tub, and very continental breakfast. One plus: Keurig coffee in lobby, however, not for breakfast... Blanding, UT about 20 minutes...
