The Best Western Executive Inn in Midvale, Utah is very rundown and sub-standard for Best Western. The hotel is in a very unattractive industrial area with truck stops, gasoline stations, truck yards, etc around it. The hotel is very rundown and very sub-standard from what you normally expect from Best Western. The breakfast is very poor and is served in... more

Stayed there overnight on our way back to the Midwest. Front lot was full, and the helpful desk clerk said to park in the back. Lots of cars there also, but some spaces available. Left a point and shoot camera and small walkie talkie GPS and locked the car when we arrived about 10. Desk clerk got us a decent... more

We were en route back from our Yellowstone trip. Good price for our family of four to include continental breakfast, which was a little below standard motel complimentary ones. Not that we minded, just were surprised that some workers there also eat the same breakfast with us in the room. More surprising was that they apparently paid a dollar to... more

We almost always stay at Best Western hotels because of the accommodations for the value. This was the worst experience we have had at a Best Western. There was no alarm clock. The staff brought us a partially broken one from their office. There was inadequate lighting in the large dark room and no lamp on the desk which was... more

Stayed here with a free night with Best Western points. Room was ok, but old and outdated. It was clean as it could be based on the fact that the room was worn and in need of a makeover. Asked the front desk clerk for recommendation for a good place to eat near the hotel. He really wasn't helpful. Complimentary... more

This isn't the nicest hotel, but the value is amazing. The ski packages that they have are unbeatable. The rooms were average, but clean and stocked with towels, coffee, etc. The staff was very nice and the breakfast is pretty decent (very small room for breakfast though). Hot tub was big and nice after a day on the slopes. It's... more

Bad choice for a vacation. Breakfast was bad, rooms ok but no good restaurants close by. Do not go to the Midvale Mining Company which was suggested by the hotel. The worst meal on our trip to the west. more

The Best Western Executive has a lot of features for the money. My wife, a friend and I stayed there in Feb 2007 for a few days of skiing. It's very close to ski areas, especially Brighton and Solitude. The Good: 1. The bed was very comfortable. 2. Well priced 3. Continental breakfast is included 4. Hot Tub for tired... more

I was here for the President's day weekend, staying with a friend who was there for 12 days to ski. He is a hard-care downhill skier, I am not. Motel was in a great location for public transportation, across the street from a park-and-ride for both the Salt Lake light rail and ski buses to the 2 Cottonwood Canyons. My... more
