Stayed here a couple of nights while visiting a relative at Intermountain Medical Center. Very clean, nice and recently remodeled rooms. Looked like new. Beds very comfortable, and rooms were quiet. Stayed for 1 night, had difficulty finding, but it was near to number of resturants. New hotel from outside and inside with plenty of parking. had ground floor, room clean with 1 bed very comfortable and clean, TV. The bathroom was clean and had toilettries. Free breakfast good, large muffins, oranges, apples and bananas, also cereal etc. Had free wifi.... more

The staff are great, very helpful with shuttles and all..just need to have a more balanced breakfast menu...way too much sugar --we went out and brought our own...hard boiled eggs would have been a great addition!! more

Went on a free weekend to do as much snowboarding as possible for as little $$ as possible. Our expectations were far exceded, from both the hotel quality and the staff. For a nicely priced, centrally located motel that can be used as a base camp, try the Super 8 motel in Midvale. This - in 2009 - with two dogs was a $60 per night room. Loved our stay in SLC in this value for money hotel. Staff were excellent, especially Kori and Sondra who couldn't have been more helpful and gave valuable assistance about hiring a car for our stay as well as advising on a taxi to pick us up on arrival at the airport. Location.. Right on the bus lines to Ski areas. 300 yards to several good restaurants (Buca, Lone Star, Callenders, Chili's). Kori (Asst GM) is SUPER to deal with and can bundle Super Pass covering buses and lifts into the deal. Facilities.. Clean, well maintained, secure. Upon arriving at the Hotel the shift supervisor ( only employee present)took my credit card and made a pencil rubbing of the numbers at the bottom of the sign in receipt.
