Clean, well located, wonderful view, comfortable room. My cousin and I enjoyed two nights here. We enjoyed the pool and the easy drive to Monument Valley. While some of the furnishings seemed a little worn, it is evident that many improvements are taking place and they didn't detract from our enjoying the stay.

This is 5 star for location and amenities of hotel in the Four Corners area. There are not many accommodations one would wish to stay in. This is a great choice. 1) it has a lovely pool - big enough for swimming with a shallow kiddy area, comfortable lounge chairs, and a shady area (it was 102 when we were... More

Passed through here last year and decided it looked "interesting" enough to return. Very small town, population around 100? Nowt much in it really. Three lodging places, I think, a couple of eating places and a Shell garage. From the outside it doesn't look anything special. In fact, not really inviting. But, how wrong can one be. Check in great.... More

We stayed here a few days after Mother's Day. We had a very spacious room on the second floor. Very nice room with comfortable beds and a large flat screen TV. Bathroom was very spacious. The sink is outside of the bathroom. Nice grounds right on the San Juan river. The main building had a nice lounging area with a... More

Honestly, this place is "OK" but nothing wonderful or worth the stop. We didn't know Bluff (Utah) was only 25 minutes away. Wished we would have. There are cute motels, bistros and art galleries! Mexican Hat is a one-horse town which is fine but not when they charge $150 for a completely average room. There are only a few restaurants... More

If you're looking for an authentic hotel/motel, this is the place for you. The rooms are a good size and easily accessible - try and get one on the river side, as you'll see amazing sunsets and have superb views. The rooms are basic but functional, as are the bathrooms - don't expect the Hilton. They are clean and just... More

This was the most reasonably priced lodging option near Monument Valley. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a cliff overlooking a river in the back. I would recommend if you are staying in Mexican Hat.

Good position for visiting Monument Vally. We had an upstairs room with a river view -make sure you get one of these when you book. A nice touch when booking is that you get to choose your room, so nasty suprises are avoided when you check in. The room itself was fine - clean and comfortable. There was a deck... More

The location of the hotel at the San Juan river is beautiful. However, when we arrived in May 2015, it was still a building site. The pool had no water, the hot tub did not work, the internet was down, the restaurant showed a sign in the window that it opens in April 2015, etc. Also the staff was unfriendly... More

Very clean and modern room. Included new coffee maker and satellite tv. Wi-fi ok. Hot tub and pool were a huge bonus. Views overlooking the San Juan River. Easy walk down to the river. Brilliant night sky. Great jump off point to Gooseneck State Park, Valley of the Gods, Hat Rock, Navajo Monument Valley, Natural Bridges and others. You could... More
