We drove Monument valley and stopped at the swinging grill because we saw the fire pit from the road and tons of people. It was fantastic steak, fresh off the cow! A long wait because a lot of people had been steadily showing up but it was totally worth it for us. Great service. We shared a steak because we... More

We arrived to the lodge with reservation for room #1. The lodge is old and time-worn in a rustic way. We were checked in and climbed the outside stairs to our room...it was smaller than expected, a King size bed and small bathroom with a chair and small table if I remember right, were in the room. It had a... More

We were her 7 years ago, just for a diner, this time we stayed in 2 rooms.... some of us upstairs (room 2) & we took cabin A. not a bad choice but what is the sense of a great kichinette when there no plates, no pots to cook, no forks or knives, no tellars, no nothing ? The living... More

We arrived late and the only room available was the one with 2 queen beds. The room was very spacious and clean, beds were very large and comfy. The bathroom was large but lacked hooks and shelves, there was nowhere to put our toiletries. The stake place has a very limited menu and overpriced but there wasn't much else to... More

The food at this location I thought was poor for the cost of the meal. A steak, with tasteless beans and a small salad was very expensive we all thought. We shall not be eating here again. The service was not brilliant but they did have a reasonable selection of tasty ales.

A great outback motel with loads of character. A fun place to stay. The swinging steaks are excellent. Thick juicy and cooked to your liking. Some of the furnishings in the room were in need of updating/repair - see photos but the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend as a must stay location.

Since the options around Monument Valley are limited, we were happy to have found this motel. The spacious rooms are a little dated and some of the furniture was stained. However, the bed linen was sparkling white and clean. Also the room and the bathroom were spotless. As others have remarked, also our room had a bit of a musty... More

Checked in, room smells like moldy old carpet and wet towels. Called the front desk, I was told she would let housekeeping know. Thanks we will just sleep here with the smell. Not friendly and not acommading.

This might have been a good place at one time, but not now. The room they gave me smelled like a septic tank, and the front desk was rude. When I told them about the smell, the owner became hostile and belligerent. In addition, the Swinging Steak I had was tasteless and overpriced. They really should close this place down.

Near from Monument Valley, arround 20-30 minutes, so good situation. It looks an old motel that smells old too. Tv, micro, freezer and restrooms, this one not very cool. Free parking. Restaurant good, but a little expensive, arround 13$ the hamburguer( very good and tasty), plus 7% of taxes and 18% forced tips. Beer 4$ and sodas 1$. Staff not... More
