I'm well traveled and I sure enjoy the posh stays. Read a few negative reviews here. Guess those who wrote them don't have a clue... You in the middle of a desert here. What more can one expect. Duhhh! This place was a life saver for my 4 year old and wife. We arrived at 1 am with no reservations.... More

This is an older, classic motel. It is right on the San Juan River, south of Mexican Hat, AZ. The view from the second story rooms is beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. TV and wifi. No hair dryer. Good bed! I would bring soap and shampoo too ( they provide the small size). Has a gift shop, food store... More

Living in Arizona, many people never experience the beauty of their own home state and surrounding areas.we decided to take a week and explore the north east corner of our state and the surrounding areas. After spending two days in Page Arizona, we travelled to Mexican Hat Utah, where we explored the surrounding area. The owner and her son at... More

Our room was very basic, old motel style and upon entering it had a very unpleasant smell that permeated everything. The room was not very clean, the bathroom extremely tiny. The walls were paper thin, with noise from adjacent rooms. Truck noises from outside entered the room as well, and not just in the morning. We even heard noise from... More

Stayed at this basic motel on a Harley Davidson tour with the Great Western Chapter, UK in September 2014. Basic motel with no fridge or coffee making facilities. Room was clean and quite spacious. The location is what sells it right by the river and 15 mins from Monument Valley, this is the reason why it was the dearest of... More

After a long drive from the north rim of the Grand Canyon and time spent tramping around Monument Valley, this place was a little oasis by the river. The rooms were clean and spacious and the free views of the night sky right outside the front door were amazing. The restaurant was basic but reasonable and served us a decent... More

We stayed here for one night after not getting the extra night at Monument Valley hotels. The location was really neat, right by the river. The room was small and older, but clean. No fridge or coffee maker in room. Bathroom window lacked a screen so when opened a bee flew in. Nice seats outside by river where we ate... More

A small basic motel on the bend of the road. Came across it by chance and thought we would stay for one night. Ended up staying 3 because of the stunning surroundings all within an easy drive. The motel is nothing to write home about but was clean and comfortable with a decent licenced restaurant. Humming birds joined us for... More

This River Front, Cliff side gem is the right place to rest your weary hiking, traveling, exploring butts. I have stayed at the San Juan Inn 5 times in the last 7 years. Car camping across Utah or Motorcycling South Western Colorado, the San Juan Inn is the perfect 1st stop or last stop distance from Phoenix, AZ. 330 miles.... More

This motel is ideal for so many interesting things in the area, Monument Valley, The Goosenecks State Park, Valley of the Gods and it has a licensed restaurant attached, which is rare in this area. The rooms are fine, clean and big enough for two. Nice to sit on the balcony of the upper rooms at night and watch cars... More
