You are miles from nowhere. No cars. No traffic. No lights. Nothing commercial. You are in the middle of the Milky Way, absorbed by millions of stars, viewing ghost-like spires rising from the valley floor, inhaling the fresh, crisp air in the beauty of southern Utah. You are in the wild. What an amazing experience! This was indeed the highlight... More

This B&B is a terrific place to get away from it all, or to explore much of what Utah has to offer. Situated at the base of Cedar Mesa, and on the Valley of the Gods Road, it is perfect for exploring Valley of the Gods, Muley Point, Moki Dugway, and minutes from Monument Valley. The hosts Gary and Claire... More

This was our second visit to Valley of the Gods to celebrate our 41st anniversary. It's hard to find words to express the tranquility and peace you feel while enjoying the breathtaking views from the porch as the sun disappears over the desert. It's easy though to enjoy the wonderful breakfasts, old fashioned brewed coffee and interesting conversations with the... More

We spent only one night in the root cellar of this B&B, AKA "love shack," a unique accommodation consisting of a root cellar turned into a bedroom with a king bed and door to outdoors and a narrow spiral staircase to the sitting room and bathroom that had been added on top of the cellar. The best part of this... More

My wife and I were on a motorcycle road trip and decided to stay in this hidden gem. Gary and Claire Dorgan have found a gold mine for those wanting to drop off the grid for a night's stay. Located at the base of a thousand foot cliff just north of Mexican Hat, Utah. No television, no internet, no traffic,... More

No Internet, no Wal-Mart, no TV; are you still interested? This is our third stay at this remarkable B&B very well managed by Gary and Claire Dorgan. This time, six of us stayed for two nights. This allowed us to leisurely tour Monument Valley and we are glad we did. Gary and Claire went out of their way to make... More

My husband and I did a road trip across the states for our honeymoon and spent an evening here. upon arriving we had a tour of the house, and were shown our room. We were then given a bottle of champagne by Jerry to congratulate us and spent a beautiful evening on the porch watching the stars. We both slept... More

Never stayed anywhere like this: it's tucked away under beautiful sandstone cliffs and completely isolated, yet Claire and Gary make you feel at home as soon as you get there. Gary gave plenty of local tips which you wouldn't easily find in the guidebook. Claire packed us breakfast to go knowing that we were leaving too early for breakfast, which... More

If Butch Cassidy and Sundance had come here, no one would ever have found them! This is the most amazing "off the grid" little gem of a B&B in the middle of the desert plain. It is so quiet and peaceful. Claire and Gary are the most welcoming hosts--not fussy--They can enchant you with stories of the surrounding area or... More

We stayed here on our trek thru Utah. Our room was the "root cellar" which was private and charming. Watched sunset and sunrise, saw sooo many stars, met the other travelers who were charming, and got to really relax and reflect in the middle of a great trip. Would definitely recommend!
