We had an easy time making reservation by phone. Upon arrival, we called and Elaine was there within a few minutes to check us in. The "cabin" was beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, had two TVs (one in living room, one in bedroom). Bedding was very comfortable--best pillow I've ever enjoyed! Deer wandered around out front.

I had read the reviews about sassy Elaine so I was prepared, but she didn't turn out too bad. She asked us to call before arriving and when I did I received a mild yet puzzling scolding that I was only calling 15 minutes in advance and I was supposed to call 30 minutes prior. No idea why that was... More

I was told 20 times when I made my reservations not to park my boat in front of the cabin. I finally had to say I get it!!!!!! Cabin was ok. The sheets were not clean ( I was not pleased to be sleeping in somebody else's funk (gross) I went to the cabin or desk to ask for new... More

Our family stayed at R-Hideout for an awesome 3-day weekend at Flaming Gorge. Manager/owner Elaine was very helpful and willing to work with our late arrival (1230 AM). The accommodations were very warm and inviting. Clean rooms, and comfortable beds made this a most enjoyable stay. The free Wi-fi also worked very well! Will definitely stay at R-Hideout again!

The check in process is more interrogation than check in. It took 20 minutes of rules, advising of fines and grilling. Speaking of grilling, this outdoor kitchen has none. On a plus side the room was comfortable, quiet and clean. However, we will not return.

My buddies and I stayed at the R-Hideout Inn during a recent fishing trip to Flaming Gorge. It is easily the nicest and newest place to stay in Manila. The rooms are nice, the place is clean and new, and everything works. It is close to restaurants, and the parking for cars and boats is OK. Just be prepared for... More

Actually the place and accomodations are beautiful. Approach Lillian with the right attitude and you should probably not have a problem, we did not. For this neck of the woods it was great. Will go back. We were there in Dec. 2014, with the heat in the room turned WAAAY down so the beds took a long time to get... More

We were stood up at The Villa Inn (see other review) and had R-Hideout recommended by a very helpful lady at a nearby camping site, who invited us to speak by phone to "Elaine" at R-Hideout (whom she described as "lovely", provided we were non-smokers and had no pets - which tests we passed), the result being an agreed rate,... We stayed at the R-Hideout for our first time this past July for 5 days and had such a great experience that we have decided to book it every year. The rooms are tastefully decorated and you truly feel like you are in your own cabin/lodge. The owners are so kind and they keep the cabins and the grounds impeccably... More

Called and had a room booked for 7, told her 4 adults and 3 kids, 2 very small ones! She met us there and told me I lied about the amount of people, we sat and argued and even offered her to look In Are vehicle for the hiding people she suspected we had! Was a complete raunch and wanted... More
