I have never in my life seen a cleaner hotel. It was SPOTLESS! And every time I saw the maid she was industriously busy - even once cleaning baseboards! Every contact I had with the staff at this hotel was amazing. They were always smiling (genuine smiles), always eager to help, always complimentary, and obviously knew what they were doing.... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway and we were more than pleased. We got a room with a king-sized bed and a whirlpool and it was very affordable. There were robes on the bed, a microwave, and a fridge. The bed could have been a little more comfortable, but all in all we were... more

This was my worst hotel stay ever. I returned to my room one night to find my bag on the floor and cloths all falling out of it. Someone obviously went thru my stuff. When I complained to the front desk they acted like they don't even care. I ended up getting a call back from the manager and he... more

This is probably the prettiest hotel in Layton. The lobby area is large and elegant, and includes both a sitting area with a fireplace and a beautiful breakfast area. The staff is very nice and accomodating. They have a typical hotel buffet breakfast. A nice perk is that it's free if you're an Honors member at a certain level. (Silver?)... more

We often stay... but we were really impressed this time... new beds(dial comfort) and down comfortors. Slept great. The staff was very attentive... even above average on service and genuine kindness. One of the best kept secrets around... and great value. more

We thought that we were in for a restfull two nights stay at a world class Hilton. Instead we were placed in a room directly above a private night club, which had a band that played until about 2:00 am. We phoned the front desk serveral times to no avail. They did not have anymore two bed rooms. They booked... more

Very good property. A+ breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Good price, which even goes down on weekend. BUT BEWARE ROOM 221! It's directly above the disco and the sound goes right throught the room. I changed out of 221 and the hotel credited me the cost - but they should never have rented it out in the first place. more

The first disappointment were the beds. While even Hampton Inns nowadays have nice new beds with down comforters, the HGI Layton had cheap, Comfort Inn type beds with stiff matresses, shabby-looking $7 blankets and quilted bedcovers. The wireless high-speed Internet was spotty and slow, but I won't complain because it was free. The second big let-down was the pool, which... more

This Hilton Garden Inn is a newer building so it is clean and well kept. The staff was attentive and hospitable. The room was pretty standard "Hilton" but clean, quiet and comfortable. My stay happened to be during a training week for the nearby Airforce base. So, the place was full of military men. All great to chat with, and... more
