Unfortunately, the Hilton at the Davis Conference Center was booked to capacity and I was bumped to the Fairfield Inn. The location is great - it is less than 1/2 mile from the Conference Center. The Fairfield Inn hotel in Layton was conveniently located for our visit to Antelope Island and the bath in the Salt Lake. We stayed here two nights in June 2007 at the begining and end of a trip to Yellowstone (we flew in and out of SLC). This hotel worked for us! Stayed for one night only. Beds were comfortable, rooms were very clean. The decor was not fancy but wasn't dull either. Didn't have a chance to use the pool. The breakfast included a do-it-yourself waffle maker that my husband liked a lot. Also included was cereal, muffins, fruit, yogurt-the usual breakfast buffet fare.
