This lodge was the place where western movie actors stayed in the hay days. Of course it's older but clean and quaint. It's in the middle of Kanab village and walking distance to shops & restaurants. The lodge serves a breakfast & lunch buffet in the nostalgic dining room. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and would come back anytime.... More

The owners of the Parry Lodge have a difficult balance to keep -- how do you keep your property up-to-date and still preserve the historic value that this unique property has to offer? They do a great job walking this tightrope, but not perfect. First of all, the hotel grounds are immaculate. I think you could eat breakfast off of... More

The Parry Lodge is a classic, and must be experienced if you are traveling in the SW. The whole look of the place is from earlier days of road travel. It's not shabby - it's just old. And there IS a difference. The lobby and dining room are decked out in photos of movie stars from the 40s and 50s... More

Stayed at the Parry Lodge and have to recommend it to anyone traveling in the area who is looking for a reasonably priced, quiet, clean and well run travel lodge. It is a throw back place but the room are fully functional and the wifi works great. No issues at all.

When we booked we knew Parry Lodge was an historic place, so we didn't care about old furniture or flying electrical cables, but dirty carpet and kitchen dishes as well as a very cold bath, where only one person can stay, it is hard to accept in a 2 large bedroom apartment. Excellent breakfast

Stumbled on this lovely historic Lodge quite by accident and so glad I did! Very helpful young man when I checked in. Recently renovated quiet, spacious rooms very nicely done (décor, comfort, etc.); plus they are "dog friendly" (outside entrance, motel-fashion). I thought the rates were excellent (wintertime) They have a restaurant in the main lodge and serve a good... More

Kanab is one of the cutest towns in the southern Utah redrock country. And the Parry Lodge with winter rates makes it so affordable. Four of us booked one of the "pool apartments" for a three day stay in February. The apartment (two connected bedrooms, one with a kitchenette, and a shared bathroom) was clean, roomy, and cost $68 shared... More

This motel is quaint looking and a nice place to stay. The rooms were very clean and quiet. We would have liked a mini refrigerator in our room but that was not provided. This is by no means a new and modern place. Internet service was spotty at best, but overall a nice place to lay your head after a... More

This lodge is somewhat old, but neat and clean. The primary reason we stay here is because of it's history of hosting famous movie stars from the Old West days. Many of the rooms are named for one of the stars that stayed in that room. They have an old barn where they show old time movies in the evening.... More

I had heard about the Parry and had seen it while driving through Kanab but had never stayed there until this winter. I really liked the room where I stayed, and it was just right for my needs. It's definitely not on par with expensive, luxury hotels, and it was a bit of an inconvenience that the front desk is... More
