Towards the end of a Grand Circle Tour, having stayed in some excellent hotels / motels at considered less than this hotel, I was disappointed with the service received. Having even stayed in a lodge on the rim of the Grand Canyon for less, I was hoping for something special. The first impression was very poor - a receptionist who... more

I would like to thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay with us. We are always striving to improve our hotel. I am sorry that the receptionist was not as helpful as she should have been. We have taken the time to work with her and let her see how her actions impact...

This is a great hotel if you like rude, ambivalent employees and dim, dirty rooms. After a lengthy check-in process with a disinterested desk employee, my husband and I went up to our room in a dingy elevator. Once there, we found a light bulb had burnt out in the main lamp in the room and no towels in the... more

Stayed here for one night in February 2009. Location is easy to find with lots of parking. Chose this hotel as we had Best Western airmiles cards. Was worried after reading previous reviews but there must have been some upgrades done recently. Our room was clean and comfortable with large flat screen tv and very comfortable beds. Stayed in main... more

Dirty windows. Smoke detector beeped every minute because batteries were run out. Staff was not able to substitute the batteries within 24 hours. We had to move to a room facing to the (noisy) street. No internet access possible because a computer error had occurred. Staff was not able to restart the system. Breakfast was fine. more

I chose this hotel because of Kanab's central location to the four national parks I was visiting in July, and chose Best Western because of good experiences I've always had with their hotels. I was a bit disappointed, though, because they were doing some renovations and my room was not among those completed: there was a slight odor that I... more

If you have to stop in Kanab, suggest you stay somewhere else. Dirty carpet, inadequately cleaned bathroom. No bath mat provided, toilet roll not replaced and air conditioner new but noisy. Curtains covered unit so had to tuck them away. Staff fairly friendly and breakfast not bad but this did not make up for other faults. more

We stayed here as a group of five for the Memorial day weekend. The rooms were clean and large, and the beds were really comfortable. They also had all basic amenities plus free wireless and a heavy breakfast (which was actually more than what we got at a fancy Vegas hotel that weekend). The service was quite prompt despite them... more

My adult son and I stayed for one night on our way to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. This hotel was very pet friendly. The room was large and had the standard refrigerator, coffee maker etc. I found it clean with no smells. The breakfast was a surprise as they served waffles as well as the standard cereal and sweet... more

Free wireless in rooms. Big rooms with fridges. Wide hallways but no elevators. Decent parking. Some 2nd floor rooms have balconies looking at the red hills. Clean. Lots of restaurants near by and within an hour of Zion. I didn't have the problems the previous reviewers had. It's a standard budget and about what I expected. more

Reviews caused me not to opt for this hotel the first time around, but our stay was fine. When we unexpectedly ended up in Kanab twice, chose not to return to our first motel, the Quail Park Inn, but switched to the Best Western (which was clean but pretty run down). The location is a little noisy, but virtually every... more
