My husband and I stayed there while volunteering at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The room was nicely decorated and we really appreciated the robes. It’s apparent that effort was put into making the rooms as comfortable as possible. There is also a small refrigerator and microwave which we enjoyed using. We will definitely stay there again when we go... more

From what I know, the owners parents run the motel since he does not live in Kanab. They were so accommodating and friendly and really made my friends and I feel totally comfortable. My three friends and I came to Kanab to volunteer at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and we got to bring a dog home for a sleepover! It... more

This is a tough review for me to write. I really, really wanted to like this place, because what's not to like about a refurbished, kitschy, 50s motel in southern Utah?!?!?! The problem I have is that it is only partially refurbished, despite what their website seems to say. We stayed in Room 10, which is one of the "suites,"... more

The advertised comforters on the beds are what attracted us to the place and they ensured a great night's sleep as you can snuggle up into them. The rooms are tastefully decorated and renovated and the beds themselves very comfortable. You also have the additional perk of being able to make phone calls to USA, Canada as well as Spain,... more

My husband and son had stayed here in the summer. My son (10) fell in love with the place and when we planned our trip to So. Utah (Best Friends Animal Sanct.) we decided to stay there. The beds were as comfy as advertised and the thoughtful decorations were really appreciated. It's really nothing too special, but it's a nice... more

We came from Atlanta GA to spend our Thanksgiving at Best Friends volunteering. Best Friends as you can imagine is AMAZING. We decided to stay at Quail Lodge to support the locals vs chain hotels - which we hate - we loved the hospitality of the hotel staff and owners and the easy travel to BF from QL. We rode... more

The lodge has been updated since Jim and his wife purchased it only 2 years ago. Even more changes coming up in the future. Look forward to enjoying them next time we're there. When we told Jim of our scheduled trip to Best Friends next year, he suggested their animal friendly sweet . Enjoyed visiting with him and guests(most of... more

I had planned to stay one week at the Parry Lodge, but after one night, i decided i did not like it. The staff was friendly and the setting is great, but the rooms are in dire need of a make-over!! Quail Park Lodge was perfect, clean, friendly, no negative comments at all. more

What a great find the Quail Park Lodge is. They have taken a plain Jane motel and made it something special, what a surprise. Even the complimentary breakfast was the best. Possibly the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on!! more

Arriving in the dark and tired after a long drive, we were able to relax immediately we arrived at Quail Park Lodge. Jim told us where we could find dinner and how far it was. Then in the morning we started the day with complimentary coffee and doughnuts in reception and chatted with anyone and everyone who came in -... more
