I am surprised to read such glowing reviews, as our experience was very different. The room itself was spotless and nice, the rates were cheap, however, the man at the front desk marred our experience. He was cold, unfriendly and humourless. We felt very unwelcome, perhaps because we are not American, who knows? I would not recommend this place for... more

I am very sorry that the lady from New Zealand did not feel like she was welcome here at Aikens lodge, I try to make everyone who stays here to feel as they as welcome but I failed in her eyes. Every year I try to improve on my human relations skills and will continue to as the years go...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Zion National Park. I think it has all you could want from a motel - quiet, very clean, well located and reasonably priced. The wifi worked very well which could not be said of many places we stayed on our trip. No coffee machine, nor indeed breakfast but these... more

If you're looking for a clean, no frills hotel for an average price, this is the place. It was centrally located on the main thoroughfare. We appreciate the two rooms and mini fridge. Cold AC! more

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. It's well priced, in downtown, very close to some really good eateries, quiet, comfortable, clean and friendly staff. It's an older motel but is clean and being a bit older I think adds some charm of yesteryear. The only minor negatives were that we had to ask for things like iron, ironing... more

This place was so nice and friendly. We have stayed in 4 other hotels in this town, and a this one is by far the best so far. The staff is friendly and the rooms were cleaned everyday. We go every year for Western Legends, and this next to the Perry,in town, Aikens is by far the best. The rates... more

My wife and I stayed there this month on a tour of southern Utah(one of prettiest places on this earth)...my wife is a fanatic when it comes to cleaniness and she said it was the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in...yes, it is not brand new, but it has that 50's look and is in first class shape...there is... more

What a nice little hotel. The woman at the front desk was super, super friendly and helpful - and not just that artificial polite you usually get in the customer service field. We stayed in a three bedroom suite, for less than most hotels charge for 1 room. My only complaint - tv in only one room, so you know,... more

Great location, good honest management, great value for area, very very basic but with warmth (Real quilt on bed). Super clean. Perfect for travelers that want just the basics in a great locale, but demand cleanliness and value friendlyness. more
