A quaint house with a little history from the old west. The owners were gracious and genuinely interested in our travels and sight-seeing adventures. Breakfast was bountiful and freshly prepared. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. For those of you that have read western novels, this is the house where Zane Grey wrote his Riders of the Purple Sage.... More

It is difficult to know where to start. Kathy and Tory are wonderful hosts and made our stay there special. The breakfasts, well, what can I say, you couldn't wish for better, such a choice and so fresh, saved us having to look for lunch. The house itself was so homely and comfortable, we did not feel as if it... More

Kathy and Tory were wonderful hosts, and they made us feel like family. I had the master suite on the main level, and my two sons had the Zane Grey room, upstairs. The home was quiet and we all slept well, but it was very cozy and unique. It felt like we were staying at my Grandmother's home. The inn... More

This little gem of a B&B is truly amazing. The whole house - and garden - is full of historical details and tidbits, and every bedroom has an antique personality of its own. To think that this late 19th century home was once a derelict shed ready for the wrecking ball by the 1980's (there's a photo on the wall... More

We are not B&B types of people but when we stumbled upon the Purple Sage Inn and saw the master suite we fell in love. The bedroom was full of antiques, the bed was extremely comfortable, everything was so clean that even my Virgo wife was impressed. In addition we had our own porch off of our room and a... More

We loved this great bed and breakfast in Kanab, Utah. We were caught in the closure of the Interstate 15 between St. George and Las Vegas, so rather than go through a major traffic jam, we decided to take highway 89 from Salt Lake City to Kanab, then through Arizona then California. We searched the internet for Bed and Breakfasts... More

This B&B is the best option if you want to sleep in a place full of history. The house and decoration are amazing and to dream of. We were at the master room that was cozy and had a marvelous bathtub. Kathy was the best host we could ever wish as she helped us with restaurant recommendations and places to... More

Best stay we have ever had a B&B. We will be going back again! House is full of antiques. Bed was amazing. Food was delicious. Tory and Kathy are awesome hosts. We even left with fresh picked concord grapes.

This B&B' is a historic landmark in Kanab, UT. It was built near the turn of the century over a hundred years ago and was named after Zane Grey's novel 'Riders of the Purple Sage.' Zane Grey stayed in one of the Purple Sage Inn rooms in the 1920s. The Inn has been remodeled a few times over the years... More

This was a lovely place -- beautifully renovated, very friendly owners, and great food. We stayed in the master suite and it was HUGE. Was nice to have so much space, and the bathroom was amazing. It had its own little porch too, which was nice. It is a (relatively) short drive from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon... More
