You can find really good hospitality, free wi-fi, breakfast and nice rooms in this motel. If you are driving through Kanab in the night hours, stop here, because the office is open 24 hours a day. more

While visiting from Florida and hiking the Grand Canyon I stayed at "Wayne's Motel" (Sun-N-Sand). This very affordable motel does not have the best amenities in town but it does have the best service. Wayne personally went out of his way to accomadate any needs that I had....from reheating pizza in a small convection oven at 11 pm to making... more

My son and nephew recommended Sun-N-Sand Motel as a must-do. They said Wayne, the manager, was a great guy with great service, and they were right. He's very cheerful, and a bit quirky, which makes being around him a lot of fun. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The free breakfast was... more

me and my boyfriend've been there after a night in Vegas. it's quite different but.. so much better. ok in vegas all the hotel are like big hospital.. and you're just a room number or a reservation. in this tiny motel is totally opposite. you'll be part of the family. we stayed just for one night. the room was truly... more

I was standing outside trying to decide whether to stay or not and the manager poked his head out and asked me something (can't remember what) but the looks of him and the place just about drove me off. Well, he turned out to be THE Best motel manager I ever met. He was accommodating several other patrons but made... more

Along our trip in west USA, on the way to the Grand Canyon, we had the pleasure to find Wayne's Motel. It was just a case, cause we choose the first available cheap motel around, but then we were so impressed from the friendly and original feeling you get by staying there!! It was totally great and I hope you'll... more

The Sun n Sand is a must have experience. The prices are the cheapest in town bar none. At $40 including tax, there is no better value and its not even close. Wayne is the perfect host and as others have said, don't let first appearances fool you - Wayne is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He... more

A true european and unique american experience. Great casual vibe, good people, great travel tips, clean rooms, a truely unique, and unexpectedly enjoyable addition to our trip. The motel served as the perfect base for our visits and hikes in the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, and in the many other places. When I needed a clothes pin to fix something,... more

Wayne built this hotel when he was just a boy and has ran it ever since, or at least you would think so from the way you feel at home right away here. Free doughnuts, popcorn, coffee, hot chocolate, and just about a banquet for breakfast, all well below the price charged by all the other chafa corporate competitors in... more
