I had high expectations as a return guest to Red Mountain but was overall disappointed with the experience. First, one of the best things about the place are the morning hikes. But they no longer offer the Trekker 3 (the most intense) hikes every day. They are only 3 days a week now and the trekker 2 hikes are no... more

Nice overall experience. Great destination for those who want lots of activities to do. Very hot this time of year but you get acclimated to it. The am hikes were nice. Did both Trekker 1 and 2. With 1, you enjoy the scenery and learn more, and with 2 its a better workout and less time to smell the cactuses... more

My husband and I stayed for two days not knowing how we would like our first spa experience. Red mountain spa made it very easy to love. The surroundings are clean, calm, peaceful and friendly. There was almost too much to choose from in terms of exercise/stretch classes. We felt like we had to try everything while were there for... more

It was a choice between Red Mountain and a Backroads hiking trip, not another spa, and I decided to try something different and go here. I loved it, especially the hiking program. Everyone is very friendly and the morning hikes and communal dining table option make it easy for a solo traveler to meet people. Southern Utah is a beautiful... more

I just recently returned from Red Mountain Spa, where I spent a long Memorial Day weekend soaking up the sun and enjoying the wonderful amenities the destination spa provides. It was my third visit, I have been there once before the remodel in 2004 and stayed again in 2007, when the property was recently renovated. It is a great place... more

Red Mountain Spa is situated in a beautiful spot, on the edge of a state park. The grounds were lovely, and the staff was eager to please. St. George's unbridled urban sprawl is creeping towards the resort. My greatest grievance is that the spa visually markets/suggests that the buildings they depict in their ads are the buildings you stay in.... more

This was my first spa vacation so I can't make any comparisons. I was very happy with the resort, accommodations, activities and food service. In the six days/five nights I was at Red Mountain Spa, I went on three Trekker 2 hikes, took a variety of health and fitness classes, worked out in the weight room, read in a hammock... more

I did a lot of research on different destination spas before booking at Red Mountain. I finally decided to go to Red Mountain because the rooms are new and modern, it offered great hiking and lots of activities, and it was still much cheaper than other comparable spas. I was not disappointed. I was able to get a new King... more

This is the best place to go in order to get away from it all. It was just an amazing place to be. This was the first trip that I took by mself, and to my surprise, there were many people who also traveled solo. They have a community dinner table if you don't want to eat by yourself. The... more

This was the best vacation I have ever been on. I have never been so relaxed and at peace. I never wanted to leave!!! For my first vacation by myself, I have no doubt this was as best choice I could have made. I meet the most fabulous people from all over the US. Hikes: Every morning at 7:45-back at... more
