Boy, was I happy with this one. The room was absolutely luxurious - beautiful furniture, spacious, great bed, view of the river and a fantastic breakfast. The room had many little touches comparable to hotels that I have stayed in at twice the price. This is a gem in a sea of chains. I will certainly stay there again.

While this isn't the Hilton, the hotel was a nice place to stay in. The couches in the rooms and in the open spaces were very old, however, my room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I can't comment on the breakfast since I bought some cereal from the supermarket but the food looked... More

As the name suggests, River Terrace Inn is right on the river. Trees, shady bank, balconies, b-b-q, outdoor pool. It's a top TripAdvisor hotel worth its rating - and we thought all Green River hotels were barren, stark chain facilities. Got there late in the day after a very long drive, and received a better rate than if we'd booked... More

My wife and I stayed at the River Terrace for five nights during late September as part of our annual “meet-up” with several of our fellow outdoor enthusiast friends. We picked Green River so that we would have access to the hiking options in the San Rafael Swell region. Lodging options are somewhat limited in Green River, and after looking... More

This is our second stay here. We were not disappointed at all. Pleasant staff, large clean well furnished room with a view of the river and grounds. Balcony patio was a treat. Now the special part - You are greeted for breakfast by a gentleman that explains the multitude of fresh made omelet offerings. Select one or specify your special... More

Loved the huge rooms and lovely grounds at this hotel. The hot breakfast is also great! Grounds and rooms were immaculate. My only compliant is with the staff, they aren't very friendly (with the exception of the breakfast chef) and housekeeping woke us up at 8 am. Just make sure to hang your "do not disturb" sign before you go... More

We used River Terrace Inn in Green River as a base for visiting Arches (27 miles south) and Canyonland. The hotel is a wonderful alternative and costs less than half for something in Moab. Riverside price ($109 with tax) included a made-to-order, wonderful breakfast, a large posh (but dated) hotel room with views along the Green River and an outdoor... More

Two things come to mind about the Green River Terrace. An employee, perhaps a manger or owner, Ben was very helpful. He spoke to us during breakfast. We told him our itinerary. He suggested some ideas and showed us a great route for our return trip. His route was great. The second thing that comes to mind, the breakfast was... More

Opened in the early 70's and decor has hardly changed since. While decor is dated, rooms are huge, spotlessly clean and well outfitted. Wifi is good and free. What sets this hotel apart from others is the sumptuous made to order breakfast. We have never encountered such a unexpected value-added surprise. Overall terrific value.

We didn't check in until 10pm and it was raining the following morning, so we didn't see the grounds, just the parking lot! There was an odd smell in our room, not sure if it was musty or their cleaning solution. The room was large and the bathroom too, with lots of towels. The breakfast area was quite small, but...
