Excellent campground next to Green River. Paid $26 a night including elec. water and dump station on site. No cost. Showers clean. Park Ranger Ford excellent info. Great place away from crowds to camp and drive to Arches and or Canyonlands NP. BE SURE you look for State Park. Another RV park is near and much more costly and not... More

Besides the river 'Never' being Green due to sandstone geology, this basic campground is fine and price is reasonable. We never have reservations, ranger found us an opening of the last few. Electric only (when hot, AC is good) with the RV dumps and fresh water across the grassy sites, near the parking area for group activities. We stay here... More

We were headed to California and trying to find a nice campground along I70 was surprisingly difficult. Most got less than glowing reviews or they charged a really high price for barely nothing - a place to park and sleep. No real amenities to warrant the price. So we settled on Green River State Park. We stayed one night on... More

Very pleasant and inexpensive, right on the board of the river. PROS: $18 no electricity, $25 with, showers & clean restrooms, fishing, green grass, very quiet, tall trees and birds. CONS: mosquitoes (lots of water), smell of mud in the morning, humid, no water, only general dump But hey! I've stayed in the other RV park in Green River and... More

The campground wasn't to bad, plenty of space. However whatever insect is out there bit us extremely bad. I would never stay at this place again. Beyond that, the town itself is near ghost town status. Nothing out here. The only reason we stayed here is because it was the closest place to Arches where you could have a campfire.

This is a surprise park. It is really out in the middle of no where but it is very nice. It has grass and lots of trees. It is in town near a golf course. It was also very quiet and peaceful. After a long hot drive it was great to get there. It is only about 2-3 miles off... More

Awesome campground. Very friendly and clean. Loved the cottonwood trees dropping their cotton. River was refreshing and the showers clean and warm. I will definitely stay again as we come through. Even with no reservation we were able to find a sight for an RV and another for our many tents. The sites were clean and grassy. Table and firepit... More

For $18 a night, it can't be beat. Along side a river and golf course, it was very quiet. Lots of trees and grass. Nice restrooms and free showers. 54 miles before Moab. viable alternative to staying in pricey Moab.

Beautiful sites, very spacy and green, grass and trees all over, nice spot. Not only for a stop on your way to/from the NPs but a beautiful place itself. Sites at the river are to be preferred. Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities. Not far to the highway, perfect for a nice stopover. Spend the first night there after starting... More
