This Place has hidden costs. I was not happy @ all. Owner or manager was very rude. And bullies his way to force you to pay the unforseen costs. I've been going to bear lake since i was a kid. This Hotel is a Nice place to stay. The rooms are nicely sized. Great beds.(Serta Perfect Sleepers) Overall A beautiful place to be. Read a good review on trip advisor. Used this on our way to Yellowstone. Wow, the lake itself IS beautiful and the kids were able to run around on the beach. Stayed here on our way to Yellowstone. I definitely recommend taking this "alternate" route instead of I-15. Bear Lake is an incredible place -the lake is so blue that it is hard to believe it is merely an alpine lake (looks like the Caribbean sea, though it is, in fact, cold!).
